    dont think its a victron thing if i change the seplos mason box to sunny boy it shows "SHEnergy" also i have a 5yo seplos v1 based battery pack that shows up as "pylontech" by default pytes battery whe nset to victron dip switches shows up as "Pytes" so name does change with diff protocol...

    if you plug in like pytes mason box etc thats setup for sol-ark closed loop to victron gx they all show up as lg resu battery, lg resu is based on CANBUS standard spec and is the "native" to sol-ark even if they dont know that :)

    Inverters are pretty dumb, unless you fry them they will pay for a long time, the thing that might die is the confuser (control/cpu board) inside, but that should be cheap to replace
