    4 MWh SRNE ASF48100U200-H 10kw.

Only half my house is on battery. I basically live in a duplex (1553 sq ft and 800 sq ft). For some reason the LVX6048 running the 800 sq ft side likes to sip the grid even when there is plenty of solar. The 6000EX is on battery full time (well unless the batteries drain down). That's why I am...

    4 MWh SRNE ASF48100U200-H 10kw.

My batteries top out by 11am in the sun. The rest of the day is wasted :(

    4 MWh SRNE ASF48100U200-H 10kw.

I managed to squeeze out almost $6k in solar credit. I didn't get to claim my panels since they were used. If I had to do over again, I would have waited and bought new panels. New panels are about the same price I paid for used (and the new are higher wattage). With 30% back it would have been...

    LVX6048 Battery Terminal

I am not too broken up about it. The way I look at it, I have a complete set of spares (less the MB). :p

    LVX6048 Battery Terminal

Yeah, I thought about it, but honestly, I could never trust it to run autonomously. I mean, it would probably work fine for a single use inverter (like to weld or something) or a mobile power center that isn't going to be left unattended.

LVX6048 not showing correct battery voltage?

This ended up being a bad terminal pad on the mainboard (bad soldering).

    LVX6048 Battery Terminal

$175 for the mainboard, plus shipping from Taiwan. I decided to move on from this inverter (yeah, sucks since I paid $1600 for it when it was all the rage). I replaced it with a spare EG4 6000EX that I had bought last year for $1000 shipped, but I have an SRNE 10K mounted to the wall that I...

    LVX6048 Battery Terminal

This happened last year, but I finally got around to disassembling my burned out LVX6048. It looks like it was a bad soldering job that caused this issue, but I think the battery terminal design is just poorly designed. There is a little daughter board that the battery cables connect to, and...

EG4 6000ex-48 beeps when connect pv?

Mine just started doing this (I know this an old thread) and I think it was line imbalance. I was running the heat pump, which was pulling about 1000w per line, and had the 110v hot tub running (1500w from Leg 2). Not positive this was it, but I turned off the hot tub and it stopped beeping...

    4 MWh SRNE ASF48100U200-H 10kw.

Not yet. I put up backerboard on the wall in my mechanical room, bought some new breakers, and ordered some wire. It's pretty cold here right now (well, cold for where I live) so I am not overly motivated. Also doing landscaping, building a garage/shop, painting, and oh yeah I have to put...

BYD 24v modules available again, and on sale!

I bought a couple of these a few years ago. 3kWh is pretty accurate and they still work today (powering my garage). The biggest down side is the size. These things are huge and weigh about 120 pounds once the heat sinks are stripped. https://diysolarforum.com/threads/byd-24v-battery-packs.27988/

MPP LVX 6048 Battery voltage back feeds to PV

This happened to me as well and I have learned to not trust any of the connections. If the unit is connected to any power source (utility, PV, Battery) treat the whole unit as live. I always disconnect the wires from the LVX first.

    4 MWh SRNE ASF48100U200-H 10kw.

Ordered Dec 28, shipped Jan 4, delivered today (Jan 8). Ironic that both of my Voltronic inverters have been on their best behavior since I ordered. It's like they know....

EG4 6000ex burning smell. Is it normal?

Is it happening when on battery? Either way, pop the cover and check the battery bus bars. Not sure how prevalent it is, but there was definitely some poor soldering done on my LVX6048. This appears to be a weak point. I have seen at least one video online of the same problem.

    102%

Kind of silly, but I was nerding out on Solar Assistant today and for a brief moment my EG4 6000EX hit 6kW from my 5.85kW (x18 325w Jinko) array. :p

    EG4 6000EX Conundrum

Yeah, that is always an issue. Ironic that the seller is in the same town as Signature... :p

Making a change but will it be a good one?

Little late to the party, but you can add more panels to your 6000EX. I would be comfortable adding at least 4 more of the same (or really similar) 400w panels to your current setup by re-wiring them in two parallel strings of eight (8S2P). I doubt you will ever see 100% output but having the...

    EG4 6000EX Conundrum

I bought one off eBay a couple months ago for $1000 shipped ($800+200 shipping) as a spare, but one of my LVX crapped out, so now it is in service. I have a SRNE coming, so it might be spare again once the SRNE arrives. There is one on eBay right now, but I think it is overpriced. Actually, I...

    4 MWh SRNE ASF48100U200-H 10kw.

I have panels all over the place. Pretty much everywhere, but where they belong (on my roof). I have ten 325W laid out on the back patio, six 325w stacked against the wall, eleven 325w in the garage, and a trio of 250w in the garage.

    4 MWh SRNE ASF48100U200-H 10kw.

$1338 with DDP shipping. What is killing me is the ex-works price (you know, before Uncle Sam, Uncle Xi, and a few other random uncles get their cut) is less than $1k. It must be pretty affordable to setup solar in China.

    4 MWh SRNE ASF48100U200-H 10kw.

Yeah, I think that is how I want to proceed as well. I just sent them a request. Kind of kicking myself for moving so quickly on the two LVXs last year as I really didn't start using them until July of this year. I only got a megawatt out of one before it blew up and I was fortunate to have a...

    4 MWh SRNE ASF48100U200-H 10kw.

I have been playing ping pong with SRNE. They have an aliexpress store front, but there is no mention of DDP shipping. I don't want to get stuck with an extra $200 in taxes. Was just about to pull the trigger, but now I think I am going to sleep on it.

    4 MWh SRNE ASF48100U200-H 10kw.

Thanks! I sent SRNE an email asking if they sell to the USA, and they replied "yes"... No other details :p In their defense, they speak English a heck of a lot better than I speak Chinese :)

Does SRNE have a store front? I have been poking around Alibaba and eBay, but all the sellers are third party.

LVX6048 ground bond screw removal- feeding main panel

Hmmm, well poop. There are other ground screws but they are all a different style head, so I figured that was it. You think it is on the smalled pcb on the left?

    Lvx6048 issues making it unusable

$175 for the main board, $5 for the buss bar. Two months lead time. :( Honestly, not sure I want to throw more money at this. Might just take the hit and walk away. I swapped this unit out with an EG4 6000EX that I picked up for under $1000 shipped so I am not in a hurry (other than I do not...

    Lvx6048 issues making it unusable

One of mine did the same thing. I am thinking there is a manufacturing flaw. Mine is out of warranty, but MPP said they would sell me a new mainboard. Waiting to hear back on the price. Got less than a megawatt out of it. :(

    EG4 6000EX-48HV Noise level?

I was hoping the 6000EX was somehow quieter than its cousin the LVX6048, but sadly it is not. Still scratching my head on the logic of pulling hot air down through the unit and out the bottom. Not sure if Voltronic was trying to keep the transformer cool, or what, but it doesn't seem to make...

BLUEPOWER IP6048 - The New SunGoldPower 48V Hybrid Competitor to the MPPSolar LVX6048WP

One of my LVX6048s released the magic smoke this week sadly. I think the mainboards have some iffy soldering. The unit would still pass through grid, but no battery and the solar was jumping around quite a bit. Hoping I can get a replacement board, but with these units being phased out a lot of...

    Lvx6048 flickering lights

I do have two, but they are not running in parallel. I have each unit feeding a separate panel.

    Lvx6048 flickering lights

Mine flickers when on battery and solar is charging. The less expensive Home Depot Ecosmart bulbs are affected the most. In my powder room, it is like a disco. On grid, the issue seems to go away (even when solar is providing 100% of usage). Disappointing for sure, but I don't think there will...
