For what it's worth, the app just reads the data from the BMS. It's most likely a BMS thing. I trust my Victron shunt reading more than my JBD BMS reading. My JBD BMS tripped out on overcurrent one time and zapped my BMS SOC reading. My Victron SOC stayed true.

Did you top-balance? The BMS will do a tiny balance for maintenance purposes. An initial top-balance is a requirement, IMHO.

I'm not sure how your RV is setup, but I just unplugged the blue wire to the BIRD (Battery Isolator Relay Delay) relay and that disabled the alternator charging in my Holiday Rambler MH. I can always plug it back in to enable alternator charging if needed.

++ on the headless Raspberry Pi I would add that the Pi power is powered by USB (micro or C) so it can run off DC with the proper common adapter. I don't have to run my power hog inverter in my RV for the Pi to have power when I'm off-grid.

Are you sure it's LiPO and not LiFePO4? LiPO is typically used in RC cars.

You really need to do a proper top-balance. It's been covered here a million times. If you need to, buy/borrow a proper charger to do that.

My experience with this is extremely poor. It's a long story, but I was ripped off and have no recourse. There is no protection.

Could be a bad cell or just not balanced, but you should not have to deal with that with a commercially built battery. Contact their support and/or return it.
