ouch at that price. toshiba got recalled but I think it was a BMS thing. ATT started using those in nodes as battery backups. that was 4-5 years ago.

@brandnewb Aim to keep PACK intact, AKA get a Tesla Y or 3 pack and never have to open it. Most of the toys in the battery penthouse can be controlled now. Find a suitable HVDC inverter. I am working to this goal. My current system is an off the shelf 400v dc system from pomcube.com.

So glad we are getting BMS units now with self heating on charge. Gonna test these new self heating BMS units on charge. Placement of temp sensor is gonna have a huge impact I feel. Needs to be high on the pack to let the heating soak the cells.

if you dont need the 240v just stick with the120v, The idle power is on the high side for the dual inverter units. I only have 240v for my heat pumps.
