Barcelona charge controller and Rosie Inverter went down

Went into -40° temperatures sending the VOC way past the 600VDC threshold on the charge controller which sent it into rest mode. Remedy the problem by taking two panels offline and restarted the unit which I also restarted the inverter. Now I got solar coming in and inverter is down, will not be...

    Midnite Solar Barcelona w/breaker box

Got the beta version, haven't hooked it up yet I need to get my pole barn enclosed first which is in next 30 days. First look, well built, packaged perfectly and loaded with goodies no other MPPT I have seen have. Figure to let the community get a look at it the way it's never been seen, all...

    Career choice

An old country preacher had a teenage son, and it was getting time the boy should give some thought to choosing a profession. Like many young men his age, the boy didn’t really know what he wanted to do, and he didn’t seem too concerned about it. One day, while the boy was away at school, his...

    262 MCM DLO vs. 4/0

Can you terminate 262 MCM DLO cable with Ancor 4/0 lugs? Noticed the 4/0 marine grade cable is bigger than 4/0 welding cable which Ancor makes lugs for and I was wondering if I can shove 262 MCM into the 4/0 Ancor lugs. Don't want to buy lugs just to try this out and was hoping to see if anyone...

How many C's can forklift battery take

Got a 12 85 31 forklift battery originally was 18 85 31 which is about 2010 AH and was wondering how many amps it needs to keep it happy when charging to prevent sulfation also what the max is. I know lead acid is around .5C but since this has bigger plates I assume it can take/needs more than that.

    Three phase

Can someone point in the direction for a 3 phase inverter for up to 480V feeding off 48V battery. I got plenty of solar to feed it, reason is I noticed most 3 phase tools are cheaper to get i.e. welders, compressors etc, more efficient of course and can handle larger projects.

    Brainstorming they say...

I got an slew of information to brainstorm over. Bought (24) Trina 395W Bi-Facial panels that need to go about 750 feet to charge controller and the system is 48V. So question is how would you set it up series or parallel and what would you use for charge controllers to harness such power...
