it also does not hurt to ground anyways, alls it takes is some water and you touch it, if you notice all the UL controllers, inverters are grounded. maybe for lightening and or for getting shocked. better safe than sorry.

Your neg goes to cell 1- 3.2v, number 8+ wire goes to 8th cell volts total around 24v give or take. Use a volt meter to make sure cell 1 3.2 v Cell 2 6.4v cell 3 9.6v etc

I can Your cells numbers are wrong cell 8 is actually 1 at 3.2v , cell 8 at 24v You have them numbered backwards

logistics is probably the issue, my bms first order in early January was canceled out of the blue, ordered from another supplier, sat for 3 weeks before being picked up. as time goes on it be a lot harder to get anything,, supply chain :-(
