    is there a step-down converter that I can put between this pv panel and this solar generator to get the volts down to the generators requirements?

    Over powered solar panel watts/amps.

    Is there a way (or is it safe) to use a single panel that produces more watts then the documented limit on a power generator? ie the system is rated for 200w solar input but the panel is say 250w. do these machines throttle the extra watts? .... same question for amps.

    Bought 320w panel today from FB Marketplace... may be regrets.
