    I am looking at putting a Low Voltage Disconnect between my battery BMS and Giandel Inverter, as I don’t trust the Inverter’s LVD. 24v system, needs to be a 200A - 300A LVD and I would like to be able to adjust it. Any suggestions?

    My Chargery 300 BMS is shutting off the batteries occasionally when I use my miter saw… no fuses are being switched, it just disconnects and I have to reboot the BMS, then it works again. 24v system, LFP 280a, 16 cells 2p8s configuration

    Interesting. So will the damage be apparent? I connected my 40A Renogy Rover SCC to my panels without the batteries briefly, could that be why it doesn't disconnect on high Voltage?

    Mhmm, the manual says you can use the apl or User mode. I've contacted Renogy and waiting for advice. About ready to buy a different SCC.

    Mhmm, here's the pictures. When I check back on it, everything looks like it saved. These are the adjustable settings on the SCC.

    I'm working on the SOC calibration as directed in the chargery manual. What should I use as a cell voltage figure when calculating the WH and AH of my LFP batteries. 3.65v or less. i.e. what is the recommended top state of charge for the cells?

    I'm thinking your right! Noticed the image attached above of the chargery BMS was just after the alarm and shut down, the cell difference was 37mv and the diff of cell voltage was set to 30 in the BMS so it maybe shut down because of the cell diff? I have adjusted the cell diff to 55mv now

    I noticed that the Renogy SCC is reading the battery at about 0.5 volts lower than the SCC so I am adjusting the boost (calibrating the SCC an additional bit lower from 13.8 to 13.2). I'll see how it goes when the sun comes out again.

    I've got boost set to 13.8 (×2=27.6v) and it's still not disconnecting before the BMS... maybe I should lower the boost some more?

    Okay, I will try lowering the boost... Yes, double the numbers for 24v systems. 14.4v x 2 comes out to 28.8 which I think is too high or really close to too high. The max the battery could reach I believe would be 29.2v (3.65vx8) for LFP batteries.
