Just purchased 4 BATTERY HOOKUP 3.2V 100ah MODULES

DogFather Keep in mind the BMS is current limited. Even with 400ah available you can only draw what the BMS will supply ( Overkill xiaoxiang is 120a @ 12v)

Just purchased 4 BATTERY HOOKUP 3.2V 100ah MODULES

What were your BMS settings? I set mine per the instructions but I think it is cutting off early due to one of my cells being high.

Correct. Top balance first then rearrange your pack to the desired configuration and attach BMS. I'm definitely no expert (the bulk of my knowledge comes from Wills YouTube channel). My understanding is; because the cylindrical 20p cells within each pack is in parallel, they essentially self...

Just purchased 4 BATTERY HOOKUP 3.2V 100ah MODULES

You would connect all packs in series (+ to -) using bolts. I think the lug holes are 5/16". I used 1/4"-20 bolts with washers just because I had a bunch on hand. The Daly 8s 24v should be the one you need (be sure it's for lifepo4 chemistry). For top balance, I connected all positves to a long...

Just purchased 4 BATTERY HOOKUP 3.2V 100ah MODULES

Finally got my batteries & Power supply figured out. The battery packaging from BatteryHookup.com left a little to be desired. There were 2 boxes of 8 packs. There was one side of each box that had no padding. The packs were fine but I believe they could have been better protected. They were...

Just purchased 4 BATTERY HOOKUP 3.2V 100ah MODULES

Not sure what the individual cells are but they're advertising 100ah packs. If you series 4 packs for 12v nominal, it should be 1200wh or 1.2kw. If they're using the 5.5-5.7ah cells, the math comes to about 110ah. (5.5ah x 20 parallel cells per pack). I just received tracking info so I should be...

Just purchased 4 BATTERY HOOKUP 3.2V 100ah MODULES

Anyone have updates on these? I'm about to pull the trigger on an order. My math comes out to about $.25 per Wh. That's about the best deal I've found for stateside LPF.

    420Ah Cells on Aliexpress!?

That's exactly what I needed to hear lol. You guys all brought up very valid points. I did find some other 400Ah cells from another EV supplier but they're MUCH bigger and MUCH more expensive. Thank you everyone for the input!

    420Ah Cells on Aliexpress!?

Has anyone seen or tested these? Wondering what their actual capacity/quality is. I would like to order a set of batteries to start my DIY battery build for our new RV. I have zero experience with Aliexpress so, naturally, I have reservations. The issues I keep running into are individual cell...
