Just for people apprehensive of doing the update: I upgraded four bms8t's and their lcd's last week painlessly. Followed the guide on chargery's site. I put the main unit and lcd images in different folders just so I didn't cross flash them. Hp 840g2 laptop, W10 x64 fully patched.

If you don't already have the bus I would suggest going with a class A motorhome. I snagged a 1997 diesel pusher with a slide for 10k last fall and was able to move right into it. I'm not a metal or wood fabrication person, but I can maintain anything.

There's so many different ways to do it I couldn't suggest any one way. Myself I would probably just run it on a old laptop next to my controller. My current VM host is my openmediavault NAS.

If you check the xuba thread someone that ordered from xuba at the same time I ordered from luyuan had pretty much the same shipping dates and such.

take it from a old school IT person, you get exactly what you're paying for with MPP. otherwise go victron or something at 3x the cost. run the software in a virtual machine or container. it makes ZERO sense to run it on a computer you actually use. keeping a VM alive is so much easier.
