Anyone have experience with MPP Sub mode? Solar then Grid no Batteries

On a side note after multiple attempts to setup the built in wifi I was unable to do so. I wonder if the firmware flash at the factory is bad?

Anyone have experience with MPP Sub mode? Solar then Grid no Batteries

Just to be clear the reading from the connectors that are attached to the array is 204V. While that was disconnected from the inverter I took a reading from the MP4 connectors attached to the AIO. That reading was 29V.

Anyone have experience with MPP Sub mode? Solar then Grid no Batteries

I disconnected the connectors from the AIO and took a DMM reading from the panels. I read 204V with the PV array disconnector switched to on. I then took a DMM reading from the PV input connectors which was 29.65 volts

Anyone have experience with MPP Sub mode? Solar then Grid no Batteries

I turned off AC power and the inverter turned off. I took a reading with my multimeter from the PV array DC Isolator output and its 204.5 volts 6P2S is my array setup. Bad Connectors in the PV input on the inverter? I just tested the cables from the PV array isolator and the cables read 203.5 V

DC Volt reading from 6 panels, is it accurate?

I was also worried I had shorted something or that the connectors were faulty /bad. good to know it was just that I dont know how to read a solar panel power diagram :( Good to know. I try to not ever work on live wires but was wearing gloves with an abundance of paranoia.

DC Volt reading from 6 panels, is it accurate?

I was under the impression under load was when I was pulling power from the power source. Like a motor running on AC power. Ex: when the motor is running its under load. So does this mean that a solar power in the sun is considered under load? I know there is power is available when the sun...

MPP 6548 selecting the correct AWG

Yes the subpanel is fed on the bus bars. Its a 125 amp panel. The inverter is fed from a 40amp breaker. Now that you mention it I want to feed my new subpanel next to the inverter by the bus bars due to the fact it only has 8 spaces. I thought I needed to feed the new panel by a 240 V...

DC Volt reading from 6 panels, is it accurate?

Mine is 6548V 390Voc. I have 12 total panels on the array and was planning on 9 or 10 for this string because of the 390Voc. My 6 string test was a panel output test because my multimeter leads are too short to test all 9ish

MPP 6548 selecting the correct AWG

The MPP manual says to use 4 AWG for the AC Input and Output. I assume that is because they assume I will be building a 100 amp system. I have 1 inverter now. I have 6 AWG running from the main panel to my sub panel. I already ran a 6 AWG run off that sub panel for a second sub sub panel...
