    2x Growatt 5000 W/ Auto Transfer Switch

Today both of the outputs from the transformer land in the breaker panel. I suspect this is how it really should be done, just trying to avoid another breaker panel, but maybe it's the easiest path.

    2x Growatt 5000 W/ Auto Transfer Switch

First, this is 100% off grid. I currently have 2x Growatt 5000es Inverters each of them connected to a 5kW split phase transformer. I have a EG4 Chargeverter connected to my small generator, if the batteries get low, I fire the generator for about an hour and it brings the batteries to about...

    Power room to house wiring

I think the real answer is to move the breaker panel to the N. wall in the house and move the breaker panel in the power room to it's on the S. wall. If not I would end up with 2 additional disconnects to be code compliant.

    Power room to house wiring

The outside wall of the house is our covered patio, so I don't really want a disconnect box where everybody will see it all the time.

    Power room to house wiring

I do have a breaker panel in the power room with an auto transfer switch for the generator. I was under the impression that code would require me to have a disconnect right where the "service" enters the house, my challenge is that the entrance is on the north wall where the conduit ends (in...

    Power room to house wiring

I have a power room where the generator, batteries and inverters are located. I have built a shop / house and have run 2.5" PVC conduit from the power room into the house on the North wall(roughly 65' underground). My breaker panel for the house is located in the garage. I plan on running a...

    Mixing 6V FLA & 12V AGM

I am an off-grid system that is currently powered by 8 Torjan T105 6v batteries (48 volts). I just got 8 12v Deka Unigy AGM batteries (free). I was going to create 2 strings of the AGM batteries so each string is 48V, then can I connect them in parallel to the T105 batteries?

    Off-Grid - System Reivew

Actually I have found some 250W panels for a good price, so I would do (6) 250W panels.

    Off-Grid - System Reivew

My goal is to grow the system over the next 24 months as we get the shop built. I expect to add more solar and more batteries as the needs get more demanding.

    Off-Grid - System Reivew

I have a small cabin that is 100% off grid. Today there are 3 separate 45W systems w/charge controllers and single batteries with each panel. I am building a 50x54 shop and will need more capabilities so I want to build a system that can scale to eventually run the shop and potentially charge...
