Thanks for the replies. Some of my concerns are the voltage being to low and possibly damage from the vibrations. I am meeting with a guy on Monday to look at his stereo and see how many amps he is pulling from the battery. I guess he just needs to try it and see how it goes.

I see that most people are using LTO for the batteries. Rumor has it that a new company has bought yinlong and the supply for good lto is hard to come by. Just more curios about the prismatic cells and if they would work in the car audio systems.

This question seems to be asked alot lately. I found this to be the best option. Drill and tap the heat sink with a m3 and use 3/4 in L brackets. This is what I do to all the jbd 200 amp. Picture is without the L brackets.

the 12v 4s 200amp jdb has 3 temp sensor. 2 external and 1 internal. The ones I get have the heater function. Maybe that's why there is 3.

Yes, you are right. The cost is in the shipping. If you were to by 1 box it would cost you almost $100 total for the box to get it to your door. I had to buy 30 boxes to be able to match the price on aliexpress and alibaba. Alibaba is a little cheaper than ali but not buy much.

That's what I sell them for $100 shipped in the USA. There nice boxes. They work great if you want it water proof.

You could get just as creative with one of these boxes. Some like plywood, some like plastic and some just want something simple. I have some of these boxes if interested.

The internet and the internet does not lie it knows everything ? I read a report on lfp and it mentioned average calendar life is 10 years. But to be honest I don't think anyone knows the real world life expectations on either cycle or capacity with the way most of use them.

I agree with what your saying. I was just stating that cycle life has nothing to do with calender life. The average Callender life of lfp is 10 years. Yes there are the cases of just a bad cell that prematurely fails.

I laughe at people who convert cycle life to calendar life. Cycle life has nothing to do with calendar life, its strictly cycles. All lfp holds the same Callender life. Regardless of cycles.

After jumping through all there hoops and spending 2 weeks of back and fourth and then have them say we need you to video your capacity test and send it to them its just not worth 8ah or at the most 30$.

Jbd are the most popular with the least amount of issues. I have sold alot of the jbd with no issues
