I think I figured out the problem. I had painted around my terminals with liquid tape to shield them and a tiny spec had gotten between my bus bar and the terminal, causing resistance.

I charged up my batteries most of the way and then put them back into parallel and top balanced them again. When I was done I left them sit all day, still in P, and tonight I measured each cell (3.640v) after I removed them from parallel but before I put them back in series. I hooked everything...

Let me rephrase the question. When top balancing 4 cells in P, doing everything exactly has it should be done, how close in voltage should the individual cells be after completion, measured the proper way?

After top balancing is compete, how close in voltage should each cell be? Should they be exact, down to the mV? Or is it common for each battery to be off by some percetange? Thanks Tony

Thanks Sandals. I used the "Read BMS" button to get those initial settings. I assumed it got all that info from the batteries, but that's seems amazing.

Two different products. I have the DROK (20 amps) and a cheap CC/CV power supply (3 amp), which I thought was 10 amp.

Thank Smooth. I figured out my CC/CV power supply is actually 3A, not 10A, which explains why its charging at 3A.

I am only using 18 AWG. Would that really cause the amps to decrease from 20 to 3? The terminals on the charger are tiny. I don’t think a 10/12 AWG wire terminal will fit on them.
