    Portable/folding solar panel makers

Thanks all. I went with the Bluetti PV350s as they were on sale and had the best price.

    Portable/folding solar panel makers

Yeah, been looking at them. EcoFlow has a 400w panel, but they want 1100 for it on sale, so the pricing isn't as good as Bluetti. Finding the bigger panels are the issue as not many make them.

    Portable/folding solar panel makers

Yeah, they are going to cost, but to get a little over 1kw of solar in a 3 foot x 2 food x 7.5 inch package, I think they are the only way to go right now. With the sale, they are definitely the cheapest unless I wanted to go with the PV400 that they have through indiegogo right now for 799...

    Portable/folding solar panel makers

Looks like their current ones are 1 inch thick which would make it around 4 inches think for around 400 watts vs 2.5 inches at 350 watts.

    Portable/folding solar panel makers

Looking at something like this https://www.bluettipower.com/products/bluetti-pv350-solar-panel, so when folded they are just a few inches thick.

    Portable/folding solar panel makers

Thought about that, but each panel is usually around 1.5 inches and to get close to 1000w, it would be around 15 inches thick.

    Portable/folding solar panel makers

Thanks. I checked out Bouge RV, but they only have smaller panels. Wanting something more in the 200+ watt range, so I can max out the Bluetti more easily.

    Solarever new 410 watt panel

Looks like they finally are for sale. Might be a good fit for an inverter that has a low max voltage, but pretty high amps. https://santansolar.com/product/new-solarever-410w-solar-panel/ Maximum Voltage (VMP): 31.35 V Maximum Power Current (IMP): 13.08 A Open Circuit Voltage (VOC): 37.12 V...

    Portable/folding solar panel makers

Are there any other manufacturers that I should look at besides Renogy, Rich Solar, Bluetti, and Eco Flow? Wanting something that I can take camping and the rigid panels are going to end up way to big (mainly thickness).

    Solar panels for Bluetti AC300

The 370w panels have too many amps to use the DC charging enhancer (60v/10amp max).

    Solar panels for Bluetti AC300

Amperage is the inverse of voltage. It goes up with Temp while voltage goes down.

Sanity check please on circuit breaker

It's intended to go between the battery and all-in-one. Would a lower rated Class-T fuse work, since I won't be able to push or pull that much amperage from the battery with that all-in-one? So, for a PV disconnect, I would want something like 150v for the current all-in-one, since I think...

Sanity check please on circuit breaker

One thing that I forgot in the original post. These are the batteries that I'm using https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08K7HZ6KZ They should be able to handle 200 amps in.

Sanity check please on circuit breaker

So, I have a Growatt 24v 3000tl lvm inverter (https://watts247.com/product/spf-3000tl-lvm-24p/) and I'm trying to figure out what circuit breaker I would need. I was looking at this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07B8BX3P2/ref=twister_B07DF7RSDV as I shouldn't be able to get more than 80amps from...

Need help with panel selection for EB150 from these 4 available.

For the options you have, I would just get whatever panel has the most wattage, but keeps the VOC and amps under the units limits. You are only going to get a single panel with those limits.

    2000 Watt, 24v Off-Grid Solar Power

If you think you are going to grow the size of the array, I would go with 48v. Will cost more up-front, but will allow you to expland quite a bit compared to 24v.

Signature Solar and shipping damage, are you a victim too?

Just a note on that. The shipper that you used to send my batteries to me, didn't have me sign anything.

Best 2022 choice for 60-cell monofacial panel?

The closest you will get to 60" for that is probably the 360/365w panels from Solarever. They are 69.09 x 40.87

At what price does LFP storage make it possible to go off-grid?

Depends what fails on the system. Something could fail and even grid wouldn't help you. What I was saying is that if you have a grid tie already, then it makes no sense to get rid of it even it there is a small cost per month to keep it.

    2000 Watt, 24v Off-Grid Solar Power

Some more stuff to look at.

At what price does LFP storage make it possible to go off-grid?

It's more the thought if the solar power system goes down, then you don't have anything. Whereas if you kept the grid tie, you might still have power.

At what price does LFP storage make it possible to go off-grid?

One thing that I didn't see brought up is the old "two is one, one is none" mantra. If you have an existing grid connection, I wouldn't cut it off regardless of numbers. I would use it as a backup to the main solar power system as if one of them goes down, hopefully the other can be used as...

    2000 Watt, 24v Off-Grid Solar Power

Why not use an all-in-one inverter? Would make mounting everything much easier.

    AC200MAX; Need Panels...ASAP! Recommendations?

Believe the amp input max is 15 also, but i've read if you go over the 900w, then the inverter can pass it through the system. Been wondering if you could overpanel it up to around 1400w or so, and then use the included AC charger off the inverter to double charge the battery.

    Solarever new 400w panel

The MPPTs that I was looking at were 450-500v models, so the panels would work nicely with them. However, I talked to the manufacturer and they aren't in production yet.

    AC200MAX + FLEX100 (14ea.) A good solution?

Believe anything over the 900w is passed through the inverter and can be used. One test I wanted to try is to hook up the AC charged to the inverter and get around 1600w coming in to see if it would work to charge the AC200Max.

Complete rebuild of a house - how would you power and heat/cool ?

I would figure out how to insulate it as much as possible to include new efficent windows and then get a full manual J calculation done to figure out how much you need to heat/cool. I wouldn't even go down the solar route until you have everything else figured out as you have a grid connection...
