Checked wiring and voltage. In addition to the bench battery I cabled to my truck battery which is new. Could it be that my 6 Ga welding cable cannot carry enough amps to melt the strip I am testing?

I re-tested the solenoid after connecting the grounding plate and it is good. So now on to making the connections for the foot switch. It is becoming clearer with your coaching.

Concerned about my new CATL cells. 12.8 volts and 400 AH. Ran the camper Microwave for 3 minutes pulling 170 Amps. Voltage read 13.1 prior to the run but dropped to 11.9 during. Went back to 13.1 after the run. Is this normal? I thought Lifepo batteries would see less of a drop.
