Titan Solar Generator 1.5 year update and review

Sorry to hear about your failure, it now does seem like I've read about a lot of failures of the inverter. I actually thought high quality parts was the strong point of the Titan. Hopefully they've rectified this problem. Actually just receive my Titan back today from being repaired. Total...

Hello, Just checking how your Titan is holding up. I ended up getting the Titan back in June 2022 and the other day it FAILED. A pop and smell of burning. I sent it back to PZE and they repaired it. Should be shipping back to me in a day or two. They said that the inverter failed and also...

Titan Solar Generator 1.5 year update and review

When at 100% capacity does your volt go to 29.2, I noticed yours at 28.9? Sometimes mine will be at 100% and 29.2 volts and also 28.9 Volts. Just curious that maybe the Titan should be calibrate….just sure ?.

Titan by Point Zero Energy (is a Beast)

I finally received my Titan with 3 batteries AND 25a charger the end of April 2022. Not to bad of a wait, ordered March 7, 2022. I just ordered another battery for a total of 4. This thing is an absolute BEAST, so glad I made the decision to invest in this unit. I’ve got 1,800 watts of solar...

Looking to buy this total off-grid cabin here are the picture of the solar and wind power systems. A little overwhelmed! What is all this, is it any good, pretty sure the batteries are 4 year old lead acid I assume adding distilled water is part of the maintenance of the batteries.

    Bluetti AC300 for Cargo camper?

I recently purchased (March 2022) a Titan (6,000wh 3 batteries) not yet delivered, great package for my needs from Point Zero Energy. My final 3 was Titan, AC300, and Delta Pro and obviously chose the Titan. Warning though, they (Titan) are about 2 months out on delivery…order now will ship in...

Titan Solar Generator 1.5 year update and review

Nice tower! A few questions: 1. Is that wall charger 14A or 25A? If 25A what is the wattage output to the Titan. 2. How long did it take to get the 2 extra batteries? 3. Have you considered a LiFePo4 battery to connect to the expansion port? 4. How did you balance your 2 new batteries...

Titan generator vs. AC300 or Delta Pro

As "timselectric" stated a step up transformer or if you had the option to change to a 120V pump. Point Zero Energy is coming out with a 240V system (unknown date). If I were you I'd call them and just have a serious conversation with them about your needs and see what they recommend...can't hurt!

The only pause to me it longevity, not safety. These batteries are the same type in your pocket with a cellphone. Are you now going with Bluetti?

Titan Solar Generator 1.5 year update and review

    1. Correct, it is safer from what I understand. From what I understand this unit is designed to run 24/7. Ben from Powered Portable Solar talks about running in his cabin full time. 2. Yes, according to the PZE web site. What's Included (1) Titan solar generator (Power module and one...

I think I'm in the same boat as you. Im probably going to order in the morning with a total of 3 batteries and the 25A charger instead of the 14A one. Where are you going to order from....Point Zero or another authorized seller like Powered Portable Solar?

Titan Solar Generator 1.5 year update and review

You are exactly where I am in my purchase. One minute I’m thinking AC300 and then Titan. My main concern as yours is the long term battery life (not bells and whistles). From what I understand Titan 2.0 will have the LifePo4 batteries, however the Titan 2.0 has been rumored for nearly a year...

Titan Solar Generator 1.5 year update and review

I’m seriously looking at the Titan with 2 batteries (4000wh). With all the NEW solar generators out from Bluetti AC300 and Eccoflow Delta Pro am I looking in the right direction with the Titan purchase or should I go with the newer tech considering the enhancement in battery life of the newer...

Newbie Help Please - AC200 MAX, AC300, Delta Pro - or do it yourself?

I think your on the right path. I’ve also thought about the same. So if you have say 5 hours per day of good solar charging with 1000w of panels at 90% efficiency that 900w’s X 5 = 4500 watts of battery charge Per day. BUT, and it’s a big but what if you have 3 days of rain cloudy skies and no...

Will, Delta Pro claims you refused to review the new Delta Pro... is this true?

Depends on how long the pumps runs and how many watt hours is used to run it. From what I know its not very practical to run a 240V well pump on any type of portable solar generator (long term) due to expense of battery capacity needed, IMHO.
