Thanks for the thoughts ... So - if you can only buy ‘real’ cells from a manufacturer, and since they’re all in China - how does one go about Doing this if Not on AliBaba ?? OR - does anyone have another ‘reliable’ source for actual “New A+” cells ??

Seems like All sellers of LiFePo4 cells claim “A+ New” ... or claim nothing at all ?? So are you Really getting “New” cells and are they Really “A+” and how do you Know when you buy ?? If someone advertised “B- Really CRAPPY Cells” then I probably wouldn’t buy those !! ? But nobody says that...

I use the IOS app so no "giant padlock" found. It happened under Load while putting down the landing gear of the 5th wheel. Battery always seems to struggle with motors like landing gear and slideouts ... will power all day the electric and invertor loads but with motors it seems to struggle...

Overkill BMS reads “MOSFET software locked” .... what do I do ?????? It was under normal use — is this a Problem with BMS ???

Ok - Thanks .... that’s starting to make some sense. So I really shouldn’t use my shore power charger At All ?! And going from 13.6 to 14.6 at 0.1v per day could take weeks ( with cloudy days ) ... but patience is a virtue, especially when you don’t have the $$ to buy extra chargers for a one...

So now I am SO confused !!!! If the BMS will ‘balance’ the cells what is all this ‘top balance’ stuff that everyone seems to make so important ??? If I do the method of “bump up by 0.1v” on the solar charge controller what ‘final’ setting an I headed to ?? Also, word I read says NOT to ‘float’ a...

Once “in service” the battery will be charged by the solar charge controller (12v and not ‘adjustable’ output except for charge settings) and the 12v shore power charger when plugged in.

So then ... I guess we’ll just live with a non-optimum battery .... still better than lead acid I suppose !! Thanks for the thoughts.

The title says it all I think ?! Without a charger that does 3.65v how can you ‘properly’ top balance new LiPo4 cells with only a regular 12v charger ?? Thanks.
