Compression springs do not offer an even 11 psi if they are not distributed evenly, as that is often the case (especially if there are none between battery packs which is often the case). Springs should thus be adjusted to each offer a separate force. I've posted about it on and I don't have...

Maybe side wall isn't the right term, I mean the main walls that go along the long side of the batteries. They provide compression thanks to springs and threaded rods, so they have to withstand a lot of force with minimal bending. eg the two gray walls in this WIP screenshot

Where do you all get your battery compression pads in Europe? And what product? I've seen recommendations for "PORON® EVExtend Battery Pad" but that product seems to be available in the US only.

I like 24v because I can hook up solar panels in parallel, so I think they are more tolerant to partial shade. Also I went with the Electrodacus BMS and that only works with up to 24v systems. (That and the cells are the only components I have ordered so far)

This is all a bit too exciting. Drafting it helped too; if I spend a day or two away consuming very little then there is potential for full batteries when I come back.
