That's a great idea... It is quite deep. I think around 38 inch. I don't remember.. Also we get a lot of rain so it will be dangerous for the batteries if it gets flooded. But it is a great idea

They came out with this new battery that they claim to have a low temp sensor and heating element. If it is too cold it won't charge but instead use solar power to heat up batteirs and once it reaches right temp - it will start charging. Would love to see you test and break open that one!
