Solar Generators & Customer Service - Bluetti, EcoFlow, Point Zero (Titan)

I have found the same after contacting them. I am thankful our AC200P units are working well, but just too much disconnect for me to drop thousands of more dollars there. Thanks for sharing the info.

Solar Generators & Customer Service - Bluetti, EcoFlow, Point Zero (Titan)

I need to get one on order. It just seems to still be the benchmark unit. I'd take solid performance over bells and whistles any day of the week.

Running 240 volt items with solar generators?

I wonder how hard it is to set up two Delta Pro's to work together. Sounds like possibly easier with the home panel than double voltage hub? Wonder if there are any videos out showing it yet.

Off Grid - Solar Generator - and Permits?

Makes sense - it's a stock generator by a big name - not like I wired up a bunch of stuff myself and invented anything. It pretty much is an appliance.

Off Grid - Solar Generator - and Permits?

I totally agree. We are in the sticks pretty good and off grid with it. The only part I am thinking on is if I need to list it on our home owners insurance if something would happen.

Off Grid - Solar Generator - and Permits?

I realize I need to check my local township for details, but looking for any input on this. I live in the country with distant neighbors, small town, etc. We have solar generators in the basement, and want to connect them to permanent mounted solar panels on a shed in the back yard. Looking...

Will, Delta Pro claims you refused to review the new Delta Pro... is this true?

Thanks Will! For longevity and dependability - do you think the Delta Pro is on par with a Titan?

Will, Delta Pro claims you refused to review the new Delta Pro... is this true?

Where is the EF Delta Group - I'd like to join to learn more. Would you say the Delta Pro is a solid/dependable unit? Like no bugs to work out, and general solid quality? I still have not made a purchase to upgrade our AC200P. I have leaned Titan largely due to quality/dependability - but...

Charging Solar Generator with gas or propane generator?

We have three AC200P units, and looking at a Titan or Delta Pro for an upgrade. I am wondering, for days with no sun, can I re-charge them with any gas or propane generator as long as I use the AC wall charger? If that works I'd really prefer a propane generator - any recomendations?

How hard was the build your own for a newbie?

Solar Generators & Customer Service - Bluetti, EcoFlow, Point Zero (Titan)

Looking at buying a larger solar generator than the AC200P to power more things in our home. Wondering how customer service has been for anyone with Bluetti or EcoFlow? Point Zero (Titan) has responded really well. The others I have not had so much luck with - always seems like the service...

Will, Delta Pro claims you refused to review the new Delta Pro... is this true?

I have been considering ordering two Delta Pro’s to run our well pump in an outage. The pump is listed as 230 volt, 5 amp, ½ HP. Someone mentioned that well pumps can have a surge of up to four times the run level, and that two Delta Pro’s would not handle that. I tried to email EcoFlow but it...

Recomend Transfer Switch for Solar Generator(s) AC200P and bigger

Thanks for clarification - in that case I am looking for "Transfer Panel" thoughts and recomendations. Unless you have a better/easier way to go about it? I am very new and open to learn.

Recomend Transfer Switch for Solar Generator(s) AC200P and bigger

Right now we have three AC200P units. I would like to be able to patch two of them into the house panel to power things. Eventually I want to upgrade to a bigger unit to replace one of them. I am thinking of going with two smaller transfer switches (4-6 breaker) instead of one larger one so...

Running 240 volt well pump with Delta Pro's???

That's good info - I'll need to message EcoFlow. If it can't that makes a big difference. Thanks!

Running 240 volt well pump with Delta Pro's???

I have been considering two Delta Pro's to run our well pump in an outage, or a Titan to just run our 120 items. I am wondering how well a pair of Delta Pro's could actually run a well pump? I won't have the funds to get the extra batteries for each. Our pump is actually listed as 230 V and 5...

Titan generator vs. AC300 or Delta Pro

No - I wish! Still contemplating a Delta Pro as it's the only set up that we could run 240V to run our well pump. But for literally everything else I'd rather have a Titan - I am much more comfortable with their service and quality so far. Is there any way you could run a well pump - not...

Running 240 volt items with solar generators?

The new Delta Pro by EcoFlow claims you can run 240 if you have a pair of them to connect. Why can you do this with two of those, but not two others like a Titan?

Titan Solar Generator 1.5 year update and review

That point - the batteries are under-rated, compared to the others were basically the batteries are over rated. Say on the others you can only use 80-90% of the battery. That makes an even bigger spread.

Titan Solar Generator 1.5 year update and review

The Titan just looks too good. And their customer response has been so much better than Bluetti or EcoFlow.

Can you split a line of solar into two?

I have a line of 1000 watts coming into the house - I have not seen it go much over 100 volts. Is it possible to split this into two lines of 500 watts each? I am a newbie so not sure how that would work, but wondering if I could power two smaller units like that? It has MC4 connectors. Thanks!

Titan Solar Generator 1.5 year update and review

We currently have AC200P's and they run really well - just too small of battery. I really pause on the AC200MAX as the expansion batteries don't turn on automatically if they go to zero. The AC300 looks like a good unit, but sounds like bigger overhead energy usage, and seems to be some...

Titan generator vs. AC300 or Delta Pro

Thanks - a great video! I guess lots of folks run them all the time, so no worries there.

Titan Solar Generator 1.5 year update and review

Battery type is the one thing really having me pause - I am not sure I want a NMC batter running all the time in my basement.

Titan generator vs. AC300 or Delta Pro

So I almost pulled the trigger on the Delta Pro, but one thing keeps nagging me. It seems like the Delta Pro and AC300 have a pretty high self consumption compared to the Titan, along with the fact that you can use as much of the battery. Once you average those factors in, the Titan actually...

Titan Solar Generator 1.5 year update and review

I e-mailed and left a message at Powered Portable - no response. Point Zero got back to me same day, so I'd just order direct. Couple more questions before I order: 1. Even with the NMC style batteries (I keep hearing the Iron Phosphate is much safer) - it's OK to run this unit all the time...

Titan Solar Generator 1.5 year update and review

I think I am going Titan. It looks like the self consumption is super low compared to others. If I run it 5 years then replace batteries I'd be good. Who knows How advanced they'll be by then. And it uses more of the battery it has - they say 97% - so it's got more capacity. I was a little...

Titan Solar Generator 1.5 year update and review

I want to upgrade from our AC200P (which is solid, just too small). Been looking at an AC200Max or AC300 but read of enough "issues" that I am leery. Delta Pro looks good, but is one heavy unit. But I don't think any of these comes close to what you listed above for overhead usage - which is...

    Energy Efficient Electric Heaters?

Can anyone recommend an electric space heater that is more efficient? We have one that runs with a fan - pretty standard - and it runs on 1500 watts/hour on high, about 850 on low. Open to any other types that may be better.

Will, Delta Pro claims you refused to review the new Delta Pro... is this true?

Not sure if this was touched on - does anyone know the overhead consumption of the Delta Pro compared to AC300 or AC200 Max?
  31. M

Do smaller inverters have lower overhead/self consumption? Solar Generators Primarily.

Looking to upgrade from our AC200P to a bigger unit, more fore battery storage and solar input. Being new to this stuff - do the larger inverters consume more power to run? Trying to find self consumption data on: AC200MAX - 2200 watt inverter AC300 - 3000 watt inverter Delta Pro...

AC300 or Titan - or something else?

Thanks! The way my panels are set up on top of a shed, I really don't want to re-wire if I don't have too. Learning curve - if I do it again I would make a ground mounted array where I could tilt them and get at the backs really easy. But for now - that sounds like a good plan. I don't think...

Will, Delta Pro claims you refused to review the new Delta Pro... is this true?

Good to hear. I would order on line and have it shipped - but I'd assume I could ship it back if needed. Hard to pass this one up. I have never ordered from Costco before - do you have to be a memeber?

Will, Delta Pro claims you refused to review the new Delta Pro... is this true?

I have bought most stuff from Shop Solar Kits so far, and support was great when I had to return an item. Is there more risk with buying from Costco if something is not right? I wouldn't be tempted, but it's a good deal.
