Lion energy better than Battle Born?

Forced air via bilge blower --to draw out heated air--(up to 130CFM) and two -- 3" holes pull in air from the outside via underside of the camper in the shade. (3rd hole above to draw air up and out) This is on a digital thermostat and a PVM to adjust fan (blower) speed AND airflow direction...

Lion energy better than Battle Born?

I have a truck camper and the LE batteries weight and size factor was HUGE! I had questions and communicating with LE has been fantastic too.

    Victron Battery Protect with Inverter?

Why is this a bad idea if the issue is to stop a specific current draw source, ie a main distribution center? https://www.bluesea.com/products/7635/m-LVD_Low_Voltage_Disconnect Manual.... http://assets.bluesea.com/files/resources/instructions/980016770.pdf

    Ghost loads

or calibrate it correctly and you will prove you dan't have any. I had none. I had accidentally hit CALIBRATE and didn't realize it. I was seeing 2.8 amps vs 0..... Just a point to ponder. If I was Victron, I would make that option a two button requirement to an,.. ARE YOU SURE....? I...

How to size a system for Bus Bars!

I had a damn limited amount of room to deal with! I liked the Victron Distributer because you could stack the in and output cables to one side. Or in my case, in on the left (if facing) and down for the outs. But don't forget, the best part was the ground bar (also 1000a) was the only input...

    Want to buy Lithium Batteries...Where?

Well, spend $2000 on two BB or spend $1499 (free shipping) and get an excellent battery management system and a lifetime of 3500 cycles for $500 LESS. Oh, and if weight is an issue, save almost 10 lbs each!

How to size a system for Bus Bars!

This observation you made is EXACTLY on point and pushed me into buying one of two options. One, was to buy the 600 amp versions from Blue Seas Systems, or two, buy the Victron Lynx Distributer with 1000 amp rating. The price was about $200 vs $150 and I decided to go the Victron system...

Battery AH sufficient to run a whole RV 3000w inverter....

I can see its 10x less complicated putting 3 batts in parallel.

That'll hurt my delicate brain. :)

Battery AH sufficient to run a whole RV 3000w inverter....

I guess the trick is identifying 3 batteries than can be put into series. Obviously, there is a learning curve for a changing set of battery specifications. Thank Gosh for a website like this. Thank you gents!

Battery AH sufficient to run a whole RV 3000w inverter....

Wow, now we're talking! Ok, parallel or series, what would you prefer? (regardless of battery brand)

Battery AH sufficient to run a whole RV 3000w inverter....

I expect to use 1000w solar, in an area that isn't awesome for harvesting here in the PNW...

Battery AH sufficient to run a whole RV 3000w inverter....

Copy that. Would you run 3 or 4 and how would you orient their connection to use a 3000w inverter for 1/2 hour a day at 2500w (breakfast) usage, and Novacool RV 9cu' refer all day? I realize its a bit ambiguous. Thanks for sticking with me...

Battery AH sufficient to run a whole RV 3000w inverter....

I'm I missing something? Is it typical that 3 -100AH Lithium batts cannot run a 3000w inverter? Or is it that they need to be in series to pull off the current?
  21. T

Battery AH sufficient to run a whole RV 3000w inverter....

12v....and I was hoping for a rule of thumb. But it looks like there may not be enough current via some Lithium batteries BMS to support the current...

Battery AH sufficient to run a whole RV 3000w inverter....

So, unless a pair or a few batteries can be placed in parallel or series, is how to develop enough ampacity to run a 3000w inverter at near the max?
  23. T

Battery AH sufficient to run a whole RV 3000w inverter....

Um, i'm on the fence s to either a 150ah or 200ah's of batteries to run a 3000w inverter...either one from Victron or Magnum.. Is there a basic rule of thumb? Or is it based SPEIFICALLY on a batteries' BMS as to which batteries can do this?
