I believe it's about money mostly, but also the unhappy customers that want grid level power at way less than the grid. The big franchises are sucking up the easily repeated ,grid tied, rooftop mount solar business.

Are you using optimizers with your inverters ? I might be tempted to use microinverters in that location, but have never tried either . Might save cutting down a tree or two or three ...

Mine seemed to be pretty effective as a dehumidifier as well. I run a dehumidifier all season (some years 2) but I remember thinking there was a lot less water to dump when I first got it. Then I set up the dehumidifier on a sink with a drain.

I said the 3 way absorption fridges usually standard in small rvs are inefficient all three ways and won't freeze an ice cube. That`s not just my experience, it`s pretty well known among campers and boaters. The compression refrigerators that I`ve seen in RVs are not 3 way units. Three ways...

Absorption fridges are terribly inefficient on AC and on 12 volt DC and on propane ... and none of them can freeze a tray of ice cubes So inefficient cubed , I guess.;) Like

Actually the three way refrigerators standard on small rvs are all absorption, no compressor IIRC.

Very interesting. I've seen 12 volts do some impressive stuff , but I believe higher voltage is necessary. Hard to eliminate propane.
