Victron 100/20 What is the input for?

I have a pump running off my small setup and stopped working. I then pulled out this little black piece and it starts. Is that safe to do and what is that?

Victron Controller, Am I seeing this correctly?

I have 3 - 200W panels setup. I have noticed my battery not as full as normal. When I looked at my Victron app (this was midday with full fun), it reads only 45W. Questions: 1. Is that all that 45w displayed its pulling in from the sun? 2. If my battery gets low, and continues to...

12v Direct During Day, Battery at night with Timer Switch

I have 3x200w panels, 20A victron, with AGM battery. This is to power my air pump for my pond. This isn't enough capacity and power to run 24/7 (trust me, i tried). Instead of increasing everything (more batteries and panels), I have another 175w of panels laying around that I run direct to...

Added Third Panel in Parallel no increase in Watts, what am I missing?

I'm using this 12v AGM battery. I do have two of these 12v 18ah lithium battery laying around I could swap into instead of the AGM. Thoughts?

Added Third Panel in Parallel no increase in Watts, what am I missing?

I still think something is wrong here or I need to adjust Victron or a different controller. I'm trying to run my pond air pump 24/7, it only pulls 60w. The idea is the battery get charged enough during the day to handle when sun isn't shing. Unreasonable? I realize my Victron 20mp can't...

Added Third Panel in Parallel no increase in Watts, what am I missing?

Add my third 200w Renogy panel with my Victron 30amp controller. No increase when look at App (as matter of fact, it dropped - see screenshot). I wired them in parralel with using two sets of splitters.

Victron 100/20 solar W goes up when load battery?

I would expect it should be pulling in close to 400w right now. Wired in parallel, full sun, 2x200w panels. Something isn’t right. Settings?

Victron 100/20 solar W goes up when load battery?

But when I disconnect a load from the battery, the panels should still produce energy and charge the battery, correct? My battery is not near charged and when I take away the battery load the watts generated from solar significantly drops. Is that correct? Perhaps I have a victron setting...

Victron 100/20 solar W goes up when load battery?

Confused with my off grid 400w setup, as shows around 9w coming in and when I turn on my load from AGM battery solar jumps to around 90w (cloudy out right now) Shouldn’t that solar w be based on sun solar coming in not the draw from battery?

New Ground Mount System, How Did I Do?

Instead of 2x6 across top, how about another cross-beam unistrut horizontal in midde of panels. So would have three vs two unistruts.

Upgrade panels now 0w victron 100/20

Found the problem! My old 20a fuse blown as I increased panels. Put 30a in now working well.

Upgrade panels now 0w victron 100/20

I’ve doubled my watts for 2 panels in series to 2x200. Using victron 100/20. Worked great with smaller panels. Here is what I’m seeing And one the panels specs

New Ground Mount System, How Did I Do?

New Ground Mount System, How Did I Do?

I needed a small system: 2 x 200w renogy panels, 100/50 Victron MPPT, AGM battery. Questions? 1. I suppose I should run these panels in parallel (see pic back of panel sticker)? I have it powering pond pump. 2. I could go with the 100/20 Victron instead of the 100/50 based on this system...

    Renogy 400w kit reviews

I may as well just get the 100/50 then, even if I start with smaller system like 400w. Then I can always expand. Good plan?

    Renogy 400w kit reviews

Would 2 - 200w panels as you mentioned also perform well with the Victron 100/20?

    Renogy 400w kit reviews

Pump = 33w Aerator = 60w Total is 2,200 a day if running 24 hours. The kit says about 2k produced. I wouldn’t need pump running in winter so that would help then

    Renogy 400w kit reviews

I’m new to solar and have messed around with couple small panels, 12v lithium and AGM batteries. Now I’m ready to make small investment into larger permanent setup to power my 12v aerator and pond pump. This 4 - 100w panels and controller from Renogy looks good...

Victron MPPT Controller showing 0 Watts (see pic)

As I’m trying to figure this out and based on responses here, couple things come to mind: 1. Should I try in Series vs how it is today in parallel? 2. Should I get a larger Victron? 3. Could i just skip controller and battery all together, add panels and run pump directly from panels...

Victron MPPT Controller showing 0 Watts (see pic)

I had my pump connected to the “load” terminals on the Controller and nothing happened. Then I connected the pump directly to the battery and it fired right up. What am I missing here?

New Victron 100W 20A MPPT controller. I hooked everything up, checked connections, looked good. Light is green on controller. I loaded up app, and show 0W coming from panels. Is this nromal or could be from battery being dead? confused, thank you

Charge Controller Flashing Empty Battery (see pics)

New to solar, and setup a 60w air pump to run 24/7 to my 75W panel and large AGM battery. Obviously at some point I'd anticipate my battery to go dead, then charge back up with sun is shining. Well, looking at my charge controller, I see flashing empty battery. Does that mean it's dead and...

New Construction, Add Generac PWRcell 9kw?

For this Generac 18kW system, would 30 panels at 430W each feel about right size? I'm in MN.

New Construction, Add Generac PWRcell 9kw?

New house construction going on, and would like to add solar for the following: 1. backup energy for essentials (such as well, heater fan, fridge identified in separate subpanel) for when grid goes down 2. send electricity back to grid if overproduces 3. possible to add in future with another...
