So I was basing my design from this, which is on Will's site. I have what says Main Fuse and I'm trying to see if I need a bigger bus bar. Sorry if my lack of terminology is confusing and making this more complicated.

    24v Question

So my system is a 24v system. My question is that Will in his site about the 2000w 24v blueprint, he states that one needs a circuit breaker between the solar charge controller and the main fuse bar. I have two solar charge controllers, do I need a bigger circuit and/or two different circuit...

    Question About My Setup

So now that you mention VoC, my panels do say 49.86V. Would two of them not work to a 100/50a Victron Solar Charge Controller?

    Mobile Setup

Hello all, I'm a newbie so please take it easy on me as I learn. I was watching one of Will's videos over the 24v set up. I believe that that is what I will be going with. My reason for this is because I have a larger than usual set of solar panels. I have 4 405W Panels. I was planning on using...

    Question About My Setup

I have calculated my electrical needs and have determined that the batteries should be more than enough. My question was regarding my solar panels and controllers and make sure that it is going to hold up. For the inverter I will need to do some math to know what exactly I need for AC and DC but...

    Question About My Setup

Thanks so much! All of this is super helpful! I have not yet bought the inverter so I will plan on the 3000w and I'll also purchase a 24v to 12v converter! I was just worried I would fry my chargers with those panels!

    Question About My Setup

Yes mobile. Yes flat on the roof. For batteries, I am going with 4 200ah LiFePo. So you think that with them flat on the roof, I could get away with 12v?
