I would not use a relay anyway. It is not a reliable protection device. In any case the four neutrals are all connected together for 99% of the time and all equally earthed through the single PE-N link in the main board.

No. Grid and UPS N are both connected to the neutral bar in the main board which is MEN connected to the local earth. This is exactly as Deye diagram and the E of the UPS load on the Deye is not connected.

Deye need the wifi connection to check the inverters. I did not connect this because I don't like the idea of some Chinese server having control of my electrical system. I will have to try and connect it and then disconnect once they have their information but the connection process is not easy.

Whatever I do with the grounding arrangement makes no difference to the problems with the inverters.

Actually assuming that the transformer earth is at a higher potential the the building earth the N circulating current is in the reverse direction so maybe will not effect the meter.

I just realised that the metering is within the circulating current that I have generated so I am going to have to remove the link again. I am not exactly sure how the meter works but my guess is that an increase in N current with no change to L will make the meter record more kWh.

Maybe. Depends on what you do with the other two phases. Typical generation specs require continuous operation with 8% phase imbalance but usually much less than this.
