What does this rating mean? I found some cheap used panels 230w 37.8v nominal voltage and 7.8amp, but the max fuse rating is 15. Does that mean I can only put 2 of these in series? I need minimum of 3 to hit my charger minimum voltage, 4 would be better.

I'm king of the plumbers tape. Use it for everything ?

Also throw the leads away and make some with heavier wire and ring terminals to put on the screw portion not the plug in ones. My voltages changed dramatically after I did. Oops you already did that, getting ahead of my reading

I agree that's why I won't use it again. Plus it has a habit of making a bead around the top of the threads as you screw it in and it's super easy to get a film of it over the terminal from that.

Finally got all these top balanced. All within .004 anyways. But I did have one swell up pretty good. I don't know how much of this is normal or not. I had a heck of a time getting the buss bar off it I'm going to put a load on them tomorrow and check what they do.

I think all except the special electrical loctite causes problems. The thinking that the contact with the flat pad is where you're getting your electrical connection. But still I think any extra is better. Plus you can't check voltages off the end of the studs with your meter.
