It does. I have been using a Combox in an Schneider SW system for almost 7 years - and it stores that data with varying degrees of detail to a usb stick. Also Very Handy for monitoring and making system changes from an ipad, computer or iphone.

Yes, closed loop only works with the inverter, not the CCs. With that in mind, it seems the only benefit is informational, and the ability to (perhaps) regulate charge current from an AC source according to SOC. We can already do that in open loop according to voltage. Let me know if you decide...

It's entirely possible you're correct. I don't have that particular model – I do have the original trace 2512 and an SW4024. Both still running – one in my barn and one for my well pump.

As I understand it, you need to disable automatic equalization. And set temperature compensation to 0°. Unplugging the temp sensor would not be sufficient. Based on the system description (frozen batteries) pay careful attention to battery compartment temperatures.

Use "custom" battery set-up and conservative charge/discharge lifepo4 specs and you should be fine Disable temperature compensation. Be aware of low temperature restrictions. Assuming you are off-grid. Look at @Steve_S recommendations...

Best to read all the relevant reviews on both big battery and the Kongs first - quite a few are less than positive.

I humbly suggest, considering all the issues involved… It may be wise to see if batteryhook-up would accept the modules back for a small restocking fee.

I have a sw4024/Combox system. All on lan - no cloud storage - just internal memory and usb thumb drive - 5 years of data stored and easily accessible. Newer configurations use insight home/facility... Check online manuals for their storage specs.

If you post the specs (from back label) of the panels and the model number of the charge controllers that would help. You'll need a BMS for those batteries too... I suggest you start by watching some of Will Prowse's beginner videos on YouTube. Take your time, and be safe... Lots of helpful...
