Deye hybrid in offgrid SBU mode

Please help with settings: AC Input: 210v Inv Output 230v Zero Output to Load I would like my setup to run in offgrid/hybrid mode, that is SBU (Solar, Battery and Utility) with 230v in output when in solar and battery. However, with the above setup, the output of the inverter forces it to be...

    Help me design my system

How is the install going? I am also from Cebu, Philippines with a DIY system started just after the big typhoon that knocked out our grid for about 2 months. Good thing is I already purchased an MPP solar 5kw from Taiwan a few years back but didnt get the chance to install it until after the...

2p16s: What to do with faster (and slower) 'runners'

I did try to turn off discharging for two days to try to charge the batteries to full (my panels are only 5000w but another 5000w will be added in a few weeks) and the pack voltage did reach 54.68 before the overprotection kicked in (3.6v). Now, at full charge, (and contrary to my first post)...

2p16s: What to do with faster (and slower) 'runners'

Thanks. Yes, this makes sense though, maybe pair #3 has definitely some issues, either 1 of them is not at par with the rest. Will try swapping out with pair #1 and see if it balances out

2p16s: What to do with faster (and slower) 'runners'

Hello guys. My setup has been under observation for the last 10 days and would like to ask your inputs on the best practice on how to deal with the faster (and slower) cells on what I could only conclude as those with lower or higher internal resistance than the rest. 1. The 32 cells are...

    JK-BMS Calibrating Voltage

Hello. Im from the Philippines and just done setting up a 2p16s 280ah (from shenzhen basen) on a plywood enclosure. I calibrated the voltage at the voltage at the terminals (B-) and it seems it is significantly different from the inverter display voltage which I suppose is at the P-, sometimes...

    Felicity Solar batteries

I asked them about the cells and the LPBF are grade B cells while the LPBA series are grade A. I was quoted $1400 shipped to Philippines already for the 48/200 so it was a good deal really. But this is a pass for me. I am already using a grade B battery here so no need to add more.

    Expandability of battery banks

Thanks for this. I was wondering, why the busbar? How about just use the same length of wire and terminated to the breaker?

    Expandability of battery banks

Hello everyone. Planning to build a 16s/280ah battery bank using a daly smart bms 300a. Question is, can I add another set or sets in the future in parallel to get twice or thrice the capacity? I cant seem to find information if the multiple bms's can be paralleled. E.g., Set 1 - Daly 16s...

    Felicity Solar batteries

Oh, that's not good, with 8.8kwh only instead of 10.0kwh that you paid. Did they refund you the equivalent amount? I think they also have a 170ah version of the 48v powerwall.

    Felicity Solar batteries

Hello everyone, my first post here and came across this page by searching felicity solar. Im ordering 4pcs 48v-200ah which will be shipped out after the chinese new year. My comment on the above capacity test is maybe the small load reduced the efficiency of the inverter, say 70 or 80% so for...
