Designing heating and cooling for a new build.

When i was installing my AC a triple branch unit was much expensive than 3 single ones! but not sure wich brand it was.

Designing heating and cooling for a new build.

One idea that i have seen, wich might be the one you are referring too.. its buring some PVC tubes and put an helicocentrifugal extractor to move the air when needed. Cool air for cheap... but not sure if it will work. For AC definitely minisplits, so you can have redundancy and get something...

Found burned components on mpp 2424lv. Looking for schematics.

Not sure, i was doing parallel connection with another unit and maybe i did something wrong, do you have an error code with yours?

Found burned components on mpp 2424lv. Looking for schematics.

No it was under warranty, but i dont think it would be too expensive to ask for the new PCB, as i think it would be hard to get the schematics on this specific unit.

Found burned components on mpp 2424lv. Looking for schematics.

I reported to MPP and they sended the whole PCB; same one as yours.

    Thats the dream, some day.

Should i Knock Down my neighbor's Panels?

Oh man shit sittuation but at least im getting some laughs from all you guys comments. Thats my fear, that i end up with a lot of damaged panels. Is there any documentation about how risky it is?, or how much shadowing they can allow?. I guess some obstruction is expected, as real world has...

Should i Knock Down my neighbor's Panels?

Hello Forum! So recently my neighbor decided to put an elevated array of solar panels, our properties don't have any separation... so that ended up screwing our side. Title of the post its a Joke, but i think its not cool, they could have put them at any other place, we didn't even notice...

The end of my solar hobby.

Do you have more info about your setup?, i want to do something simillar!. Do you filter / clean the water before ingress to your main tank?

Bus bar instead of combiner box

Have you ever used modular terminal blocks?, they are very common on industrial panels, you can join them together with busbars / bridges, altough i have never used them in high power DC...

    MPP Solar LV2424 kicks butt!!!

I can swear it was in the manual but in a quick check couldn't find it, hopefully someone here has the data. But i have tested them in a bunch of computers and none of them have turned off, although if its something critical i could advise about getting an smaller complementary UPS since they...

    MPP Solar LV2424 kicks butt!!!

Its included, not sure about the speed but its in the range of ms, you can usually find it in the user manual / specs page. I can tell you that its fast enough to maintain power in any device, even PC's, so it could be used as an UPS too!

EVE-280 cells should these be clamped tight or spaced for expansion?

We shuld pay between all of us, an hour of consultation with the EVE engineers! ;)

Good looking!, wich BMS's are you using?, are they good?

I can talk by experience that you get swelling with minimal C rates, only by the process of charge & discharge (At least with my prismatic's) . Posted something about this last year (With photos of the swelling), and thats why i went ahead and builded my compression case. It affects the cells...

DEYE Inverter UL Listed available in US

There is some official distributors in Mexico, if you are able to cross the border i can connect you.

Deye / Solark 8K Setup, Some photos an diagrams!

Yeah makes sense. But wich part of the wall condense the water?. I believe its the hotter side?. Moisture or condensation occurs when a hotter / moist air comes in contact with a relatively colder surface. So in that case, the condensation will occur in the heat sink area of the inverter, wich...

A heads up about some server rack batteries.

I think Filterguy was refering to the small pylontech's, with their limit of 25A / unit. I was running my 8kw inverter for some time with a single one of those batteries... so i understand why is he bringing this up. (My protected circuit has a low peak load, so i was good with that). Even...

Deye / Solark 8K Setup, Some photos an diagrams!

The great thing about this inverter design is that the heat disipation its entirely in its own sub unit / enclosure. No electronics aside from the fans. They are only connected by some big aluminum heatsinks: I have my inverter inside an AC controlled space. But the whole PV system is less...

Deye / Solark 8K Setup, Some photos an diagrams!

Sure!. From a front view, the 3 left fans are injectors, they force air in. And the exhaust its at the right side (With no fans, only grilles)

    Minimal and functional, excellent work.

Deye / Solark 8K Setup, Some photos an diagrams!

Yeah please update, you are probably doing it before me. Not sure if the inverter uses PWM or straight voltage, but either way i dont think there is silent fans at 80mm and >4000 - 5000rpm's, so the fan controller its probably a safer bet.
  23. mrdavvv

Deye / Solark 8K Setup, Some photos an diagrams!

They are very loud and spin very fast, around 5000rpm i believe, so its kind of high pitched noise. I havent had time but it should be relatively simple to connect the fans to a PC fan controller and make then spin all the time to 3000rpm or something similar, or even attach a temp sensor in...

Are Vglory Batteries the same as Gyll Batteries

@jmm Did you come to any conclusions? Im also interested as the gyll batteries seem decent but they are always out of stock. Also the Vglory are around 600usd cheaper as it seems.

Yeah, main reason of why i went with the solark, and there is not a lof of hybrids all in one that have UL1741

Deye / Solark 8K Setup, Some photos an diagrams!

App looks nice. I have the CT's in my to do list, however in my case the inverter its around 20mt from the main panel, and the conduit isn't that easy, so need some more time, but when i have it ready ill let you know!. Almost finished, just need to solve the cabling under the inverter.

Deye / Solark 8K Setup, Some photos an diagrams!

Yeah they have UL1741 so they should be able to. If you are in the US you can also get the Sol-ark, but its more expensive. I come from smaller MPP Solars and the Deye is just as flexible as them, even more, but with a better quality, capacity and with UL. PD: Deye is not for sale inside US...

Deye / Solark 8K Setup, Some photos an diagrams!

Hello! Yeah Grid ted & with battery backup, its a DC coupled system, but can also AC couple. It can act as an string inverter, or an off grid one. I have some priority loads on the "Load terminal", and everything else goes back to my installation, and the remaining to grid. 48V Lifepo4...

Just wanted to share a bad photo of the system at near 100% PV generation for my array: Ive seen it at around 8.8Kwh, probably could produce more but my load its not big enough ;) - Im at around 1300 - 1400 Kwh /month, with a 10.3Kw PV array (east - west) - System has generated 3.50Mwh...

Number of panels in a string

The 3150W of array its conected directly to a single MP2424?, if so... whats the maximum power that can output?, mine clips at around 2250W.
  33. mrdavvv

Sizing an array for MPP Solar LV2424

In reality the inverter can exceed 2000W, ive seen mine hit 2200W, my array is 6x380W, so 2280W. Havent seen any problems. Also keep in mind that rarely the panels hit 100%, so you would be below 2000W most of the time. As you know, you only need to avoid the Voc of the inverter, generally you...

Can growatt be configured to backfeed to grid when power is on?

Little offtopic, but how expensive the certification process could be?, or maybe its too hard too meet?, US its a huge market so not sure why the Chinese brands would lose on that.

Can growatt be configured to backfeed to grid when power is on?

Yeah they are safe, but as far as i know you wont sell electricity if you dont have the UL in US, not legal..
