I did connect 8 280aH and 8 304aH together to form a 48V on a 16S BMS. It worked fine from what I could tell the short amount of time I used it that way. I had read that the BMS will handle balance, and the balance is based on a low and a high voltage, not the aH of discharge and charge.

There was a firmware issue with the LV6548 in that it would not sync up as 2P1 and 2P2 until that firmware was updated. Perhaps the 6500 is having that same issue?
