You cant really go by that charge graph. My battery (24v) is currently on 17.3% charge, but showing a voltage of 26.34V. My battery is made up of 4 x 100ah batteries. I use a Victron smart shunt to monitor solar production & usage.

Yes, has been for days. Gets to 28.6V about 1-1:30pm ish. As mentioned earlier, its only started happening since the last update.

It used to do it automatically before the last update and I havent changed any of the settings since setting it up.

I've found recently is doesnt change to 100% SOC after being on float for a while. Today I had to manually change it to show 100%, but then last week, it did it automatically after about 15-30mins of being at full charge (28.6V). But apart from that, its great at giving the right SOC...

I think your smart shunt is wired in wrong. Its showing your usage AND the solar production. The shunt should be wired inbetwen your battery and inverter, but looks like its wired between your inverter and SCC instead. (I think).

Could it be too many Amps? with the 4+S config?

Some batteries say not to go above 60oC or 65oC (140F+, just checked you're in the US), so maybe just stick a thermometer in there and check during summer.

I've got 2 x JA panels. They're rated at 385W each, but I have seen them produce as much as 848W on a good day! Was well chuffed with that ? My other 2 panels however, Trina, 340W each, max I've seen out of them was about 640W.

You picture of the controller shows voltage at 26.8, the batteries are fully charged, so the controller wont charge them as they're full already. Well, depends on the settings on the controller. 24V fully charged could be 29.2V. Thats my 2 pence worth anyway. Try using some of the battery...

From my little bit of knowledge, you will need a 24v fuse box, like the kind you get in a truck. Does the Renogy charger have a load output? Think it'll all need to be wired up to that through the fuse box. I'm not sure how you would program the Renogy to only use solar to power the load...
