I have 10 CATL cells from a group purchase that were supposed to be grade A, but clearly are not. They all measure at ~3.2-3.3v (not near them right now but can check if needed). They probably work but I don't like how they look. Make an offer.

BTW, for everyone seeing this thread, there's now a new version of the WiFi module firmware that adds a bunch of features and bug fixes. I installed the update on mine and everything went smooth. My understanding is the cable issue was an early production issue that has now been addressed by REC.

Took some measurements over the weekend using my phone placed right next to the fan. Ambient noise was 29dB. Charging at 3A was 35dB and went all the way up to 45dB at 15A. Fan was measured at 63dB. Discharging was similar. Its not excessively loud but I have had a bunch of inverters that were...

It is currently sitting on a heavy desk. I will place it on a moving blanket when I get to playing with it again. Moving it around slightly on the desk had no noticeable effect, and neither slightly tilting it.

I unfortunately am out of the return window. What I am considering doing is ordering a 2nd one and trying it out, and if it sounds differently perhaps I will have a stronger warranty claim that this is unacceptable.

How come some people's Multipluses seem immune to this problem while others are not?

That is disappointing. Even at low charge currents? I have experience with some other inverters/chargers and every other device I used was much quieter than the praised Victron...

Hello! I recently set up my Multiplus 3000/24 and tried charging my pack. Even at 5A on the 110v side there is a very noticeable and irritating buzzing sound - The Victron dealer says this is common, but so far four people have told me theirs are silent. I'd like to collect some more opinions...

Now if only their holes were smaller to make better use of the terminal surface area... any thoughts on that?

That braid is supposedly rated for 120A although who knows at what voltage/for how long... I am hoping to avoid going this avenue but it might end up being a good solution. My hope is to learn some more by maybe finding someone who has experience with this stuff before I go spending money on it :)
