How much surface area of the terminal are they covering? I ordered them but for the studded cells I have this seems inadequate :(

Yes. They arrived late Aug if I am not mistaken. Were kept in my storage shed prior to taking this photo.

[SOLD] 10 CATL 302Ah cells in unknown condition, located in Oakland, CA

I have 10 CATL cells from a group purchase that were supposed to be grade A, but clearly are not. They all measure at ~3.2-3.3v (not near them right now but can check if needed). They probably work but I don't like how they look. Make an offer.

    Rec Bms problem

BTW, for everyone seeing this thread, there's now a new version of the WiFi module firmware that adds a bunch of features and bug fixes. I installed the update on mine and everything went smooth. My understanding is the cable issue was an early production issue that has now been addressed by REC.

Multiplus 3000/24 buzzing while charging even at low current

Took some measurements over the weekend using my phone placed right next to the fan. Ambient noise was 29dB. Charging at 3A was 35dB and went all the way up to 45dB at 15A. Fan was measured at 63dB. Discharging was similar. Its not excessively loud but I have had a bunch of inverters that were...

Multiplus 3000/24 buzzing while charging even at low current

It is currently sitting on a heavy desk. I will place it on a moving blanket when I get to playing with it again. Moving it around slightly on the desk had no noticeable effect, and neither slightly tilting it.

That's a repair I would like Victron to do, before I go and void my warranty :)

Multiplus 3000/24 buzzing while charging even at low current

According to the MP manual (haven't checked the MP-II), mounting in that orientation is fine: "The MultiPlus is suitable for wall mounting. For mounting purposes, a hook and two holes are provided at the back of the casing (see appendix G). The device can be fitted either horizontally or...

Multiplus 3000/24 buzzing while charging even at low current

I unfortunately am out of the return window. What I am considering doing is ordering a 2nd one and trying it out, and if it sounds differently perhaps I will have a stronger warranty claim that this is unacceptable.

Multiplus 3000/24 buzzing while charging even at low current

That is disappointing. Even at low charge currents? I have experience with some other inverters/chargers and every other device I used was much quieter than the praised Victron...

Multiplus 3000/24 buzzing while charging even at low current

Hello! I recently set up my Multiplus 3000/24 and tried charging my pack. Even at 5A on the 110v side there is a very noticeable and irritating buzzing sound - The Victron dealer says this is common, but so far four people have told me theirs are silent. I'd like to collect some more opinions...

    CATL 271Ah cell issues.

Well, 3 out of my 4 boxes arrived and they are messed up like everyone elses. Scratched QRs, dinged, stripped terminals. Whats next? ... and don't go sending me check the voltage. I couldn't give a **** if they measure fine, this is not what I paid for and I am not risking my project using...

    CATL 271Ah cell issues.

Ordered 16 CATL 302AHs after the Lishen headache, tracking number on 3 out of 4 boxes updated today to indicate estimated delivery tomorrow. Based on other posts here and on the group order thread it sounds like it's gonna be hazardous junk :-(

    Looking for 24v panel recommendations

Hello! I'm trying to figure out which panels to get for my van conversion. The space I have is pretty limited and I would like to maximize it. The width of my roof rack is 60", and it's 145" long but unfortunately has a fan in the middle that divides it into 3 sections: ~40", 24", 81". My...

Potential avenue for DIY flexible bus bars

That braid is supposedly rated for 120A although who knows at what voltage/for how long... I am hoping to avoid going this avenue but it might end up being a good solution. My hope is to learn some more by maybe finding someone who has experience with this stuff before I go spending money on it :)
