My multiplus is only about 75% efficient which was a big surprise from their 95% stated efficiency. When AC out reads 1000w my shunt reads about 1350w being drawn from the battery bank on the VRM.

Do you have the Dynamic Current Limiter setting clicked on the MP? This helps allow the generator respond better to large surge loads. Also, try turning off the UPS Function.

Well the multiplus has an operating range of -40 to 140F. Seems pretty warm for operation but maybe it will all be fine for a month or so of those hot temps.

This just blows my mind. AC loads of 950w but discharging battery at 1250w. That’s 76% efficiency. I might need to double up on solar panels and another charge controller if I plan to run the AC through the summer. What a disappointment.
