I had a bit of a hiccup with a growatt inverter, turns out the stated minimum input voltage was not accurate. After adding more panels, it worked. Just a thought.

Thanks for the valuable input. From a safety standpoint, I have an interlock installed- in other words I cant physically power the house from battery or generator until I turn off the mains. I dont know if that will pass inspection. Also, we want to try to live intermittently on batteries this...

I have a different model. Out of the box it would throw the "AC Outrange" error. I knew the grid was correct (240 at 60 hz in the states). Turns out my problem had nothing to do with the AC. Brand new growatt 5000 tlx is throwing an AC out of range error. It is sensing the correct grid voltage yet will not power up. Wondering if there is a software utility where this can be adjusted. Anyone with an experience like this? thanks!
