    Heat Pump water Heaters

Our 3 mini spits in winter are what we heat with ,with all our solar power and extra batteries. I'm a bit worried at .43cents a KW we will eat up that gas cost pretty fast and start paying big tome for power in winter .Any leftover power now goes to the 80 gallon solar preheat tank in a...

Right now with the low sun here in Extreme Nortnern California on the coast our panels only get full sun exposure for 4 hours a day.. 10ish to 2 pm. Some days this will not charge our battery bank. (9,600 watts) 24x 400 amp panels. The batteries are 3 x 7.5 Kilovualts=22.5kw. I'm thinking your...

    Efficiency issue or...????

On another battery note. My 3 kilovolt batteries (7.8kw each) did not talk to each other . That is two are version threes and one is version 4. When I had just two 3s they talked fine and the new this past year version 4 would not talk to the 3rs and the charge was not equal with them all. I...

Is there any way to make money from excess power apart from selling back to grid?

I put my extra power into an 80 gallon solar water tank that preheats our gas water heater. That is a 3,000 watt electic stinger in mid tank. That tank also gets hot water from two 4x8 panels (solar hot water panels) on roof

Not far and do it carefully but weight limits are for the weak of heart. I have done this for over 4 decades My chevy 1 ton van hauls way over a ton and I take it on...

Our array is on a hill and and my cross members have more room than yours (less of them) so I recall sliding them thru and using a short ladder. Help: Are solar systems vulnerable to EMP's or CMA's??? / panels/controllers/inverters/batteries/ or wiring???? Any guides lines for protection if so?

my neighbor got the hardened sol-arc-its wone of the few that offer that. The downside is you have to use lead batterties no more mondern ones if I recall for backup power. I agree that if a EMP war breaks out this will be a moot point

Patching hole in garage roof after removing vent - I'm lost!!

Do not slip any under the old ones and make a bulge. It looks like you should cut back that single on second row down on right some so they have a smoother transition. You still need to slip the last row up under the very top row. This is where you need the singles to be warm enough to bend them...
