my neighbor got the hardened sol-arc-its wone of the few that offer that. The downside is you have to use lead batterties no more mondern ones if I recall for backup power. I agree that if a EMP war breaks out this will be a moot point

I used weather heads under panel to enter a box and a conduit-they work great-also some wire loom to protect any wires as they entered weather head-Amazon has a selection of sizes-also on my limiter wires (you are not useing them)-its hybrid thing(sol-arc)

Brutal weather conditions or some longer wire runs-its no brainer for me but heck I'm the guy who sent back my 12kw Sol-Ark in for repair-no fun
