Maybe i'm being pedantic but should i worry about 4-48kg batteries + the weight of the server rack on my floor? ~ 500lbs worse case on 4 castor wheels. Joists are 2x10s 16oc with about a 10 foot span - I can measure for sure for the span if its close. Should i be at all concerned? Thanks!

Looking in the manual all i see if Alarm, mayb thats the setting. There doesnt seem to be any annoying fucking beep noise setting...

Lemme get back to you on this... From what i remember if i add a resistor to the negative terminal and turn it all on the resistor will get REALLY hot...

My batteries have precharge resistor built into them - the eg4 ones..

Interesting... thats how Signature Solar diagnosed the issue. I got a new inverter sent to me and out of the box i checked for continuiuty right away before i did anything and there was none.

FWIW my inverter had continuity between +/- which makes sense that there was the alarm preventing the short.

Sorry i just saw this message now... I have the faulty inverter still but got a new inverter today and my issue was fixed. :)

I got a new inverter today from Signature Solar and it fixed my issue of the battery going into an alarm state. So for me was a faulty inverter...

@Will Prowse I just had a session on the phone with the lead tech guy at Signature Solar and we tested the battery inputs on the inverter. They have continuity and according to him they should not so something went bad for me (it seems) in the inverter and not the battery. They're gonna ship me...

Yeah i opened the issue back then, wow its been nearly 2 months... 2 months of my panels sitting and doing nothing...

@Will Prowse im still working together with @RichardFromEG4 to debug this and potentially solve it. We've updated firmware and such... Im doing my best to remain patient and try to work with them to solve the issue, but we're stuck right now... so lets see...

I personally have 1 battery and 1 6.5k Eg4 inverter.

The video should work now, its was being "processed" when i uploaded it to google drive.

Nope, but then u need to set the inverter to the generic battery like you did. They just dropped an err 61 video on youtube...
