How did this turn out for you? I am getting a SolarEdge System installed on Mon Nov 7. I would like to use the EG4 system also. Did you A/C couple?

    EBL Portable Power Station

I would say that the best word to describe thewould be CONVENIENT. Since they are charged by regulation at 50% to be shipped, it took only 5 hours to charge to 100% while plugged into a wall outlet. There is an easy-to-use wireless phone charger right on top of the station as well as a brilliant...

Mrbf Terminal Fuse instead of Class T

The 4/0 Lugs don't fit well into the lynx boxes. The mounting holes get in the way...I'm going to re-mount it in new holes and keep the 4/0. Each battery only has 1 200A MRBF fuse. I returned the breakers.

Mrbf Terminal Fuse instead of Class T

Could I replace those 4/0 battery cables that are oversized with 2/0? I think it works but I want to be sure.

Non Enphase storage with new Enphase system

I have seen this talked about on the forum, but I'm not sure just what is possible. I'm going to have a new system installed, and they want to use enphase. I was hoping to use Eg4's or Sok Rack Batteries. Is this possible? Thankyou in advance.

Adding circuit breaker to RV Panel

Ok ordered a different one...and now FOR THE 12K BTU SYSTEM, IT WILL REQUIRE A SINGLE POLE 15-AMP BREAKER, 115 VOLTS better

Adding circuit breaker to RV Panel

Well the manual said the max was 25 amps.

Adding circuit breaker to RV Panel

Thank you Thats why I captured above and below.... Is there a certain kind of breaker that fits these? It's a mini split A/C 115v.

Overkill Solar (JBD) BMS and Short Circuit Protection

A timely lesson I needed to see. I am very careful, but it reminds me to be extra careful and triple check things. Tomorow it will be warm enough to resume my install. I'll remember this.

Mrbf Terminal Fuse instead of Class T

I'm having trouble finding 200 amp terminal fuses in stock.
  17. R

Mrbf Terminal Fuse instead of Class T

Not sure I understand the question, but the 4 12v battery's will be paralleled and combined with the Victron Lynx Power IN. 12.8? The highest current would be max 2000 watts, but not often.
  18. R

Mrbf Terminal Fuse instead of Class T

It goes from that lynx distributor to the 12v panel...It's already installed from my previous install ,and I just upgraded to 1/0 from the what the original was on the Camper... But I'm going to redo the drawing tonight.

Mrbf Terminal Fuse instead of Class T

    Interesting thank you

Mrbf Terminal Fuse instead of Class T

Thank you, well I guess I'll have to return the 300amp Terminal fuses for 200.
  21. R

Mrbf Terminal Fuse instead of Class T

Yes I am concerned about the amount of connections... They are all top rate fuses tho.
  22. R

Mrbf Terminal Fuse instead of Class T

That 400 was a mistake, 300 amp terminal fuses. I was thinking they are catastrophic fuses... 200 yes for switching... Victron suggests 400 for that Inverter. That's a mega fuse.
  23. R

Mrbf Terminal Fuse instead of Class T

Each Battery will have a JBD 150A "Smart" BMS
  24. R

Mrbf Terminal Fuse instead of Class T

Ok It's not pretty but here it is. The terminal fuses are 300 amp... highest I could find. The 12V system is 30 amp fuse and circuit breaker.
  25. R

Mrbf Terminal Fuse instead of Class T

I'll have 4 300ah batteries each one will have a 150 amp BMS 300 amp Terminal fuses on each battery going into a blue sea 200 amp Circuit breaker on each Battery 4/0 cable then into the Battery Combiner (Victron Power IN) 400 amp mega fuse in Victron Power Distributor.
  26. R

Mrbf Terminal Fuse instead of Class T

    4x separate bms . JBD 150 amp... 4/0 wire
  27. R

Mrbf Terminal Fuse instead of Class T

The Bms rating is 150 amp for each battery. 200 for the circuit breakers is enough.. at least I hope so.
  28. R

Mrbf Terminal Fuse instead of Class T

300 amp for the fuses. The circuit breakers are disconnects and minimal protection. I will have a 400 or 300 amp mega fuse also in the power distributor..
  29. R

Mrbf Terminal Fuse instead of Class T

    4 300ah Batteries.
  30. R

Mrbf Terminal Fuse instead of Class T

    Yeah I ordered 4 and 2 spares.
  31. R

Mrbf Terminal Fuse instead of Class T

You asked what the Amp hour rating of the batteries were.
  32. R

Mrbf Terminal Fuse instead of Class T

300 ah MRBF on terminal fuses. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0019ZBTV4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 MRBF Terminal Fuse, 300 Amp 1 on each Battery.
  33. R

Mrbf Terminal Fuse instead of Class T

I will have 4 12v batteries. I do have 2 class T fuse in hand. But I am going to put an Mbr fuse on each battery and, then a 200 Amp Blue Sea breaker after the fuse and then into a victron power in. Is this safe?

Parallel connecting four 48v 100AH batteries - cables or busbar

I'm putting together 4 batteries and I'm going with the Victron Power In. I figured by the time I buy thick copper bars. For $140, I can get 2 1000 amp busbars in a nice package for less than 2 650 Amp busbars. Or closer to that amount.
  35. R

Use Contactor with JBD 150A "Smart" BMS

I remember seeing one of Wills videos that mentioned with Victron you could use the relays on the inverter to cut it off??? (Maybe I'm wrong).. Optocoupler SSR ?
