Follow up on my BMS problem. I ordered a new BMS from lithium battery PCB and works flawlessly. So the JBD must be defective. Has anybody been able to get a replacement BMS from them?

Back to trying to get this BMS to work. After connecting, it was charging okay but as soon as I removed the solar voltage to have it run on battery through the inverter the BMS shut off.

Absorb is set to 64.6v float is set to 64.5v. With Midnite Solar controller. But if the high voltage protection limit was activated it would show it correct?

I finally was able to open the wiring diagram file from JBD website, it shows it a little different and now showing all 18 cells correctly.

I just recently the same 21s BMS but only need 18s. What did you do with the extra balance leads?

Doug, typo on my part, you're thinking in the right direction. The 12 volts from the BMS is continuously powering a 12v relay, I have a separate 24 volt power supply that runs to the normally closed portion of the relay. The BMS would have to be manually reset in order to reset the relay.

I don't have a DCC, I'm using a ABB shunt trip breaker. Tripped from a 12v NO relay.

I have uart model but not connected to pc, ok need to figure that out.

I got the 60v 60a Daly bms and after 5 weeks, it's dead. They're sending me a new one. But now think I should have gotten 100 plus amp

My 16s 60v 60A just took a dump after working for 5 weeks. Shorting b- p- worked once.

Connected all 16 batteries, I wanted to setup before. My DIY 18650 battery pack is a pain to move around. This board is 4s 40p, there's another one on top of this, then another set in series on another shelf.

It's ok now, got it running.

There are grid tie inverters that you can install yourself that have NetZero check out Sun GTI l2 on YouTube. Also another one I just saw that's a lot more expensive is sun ark.

I'm getting ready to install the Sun gtil2, jimginnyohio on YouTube explains it well.

I picked up 4 230 watt Sharp panels from ML, they tested ok, I only got 5.5 amps by connecting it together and using clamp meter. ISC says 8.5 amps.
