Hi all, just finished building my 280ah battery. Can somone till me if I need a fuse on the 35mm positive wire (green arrow on picture) that goes to the positive stud on the outside of the box?

Thinking of making a battery box out of 18mm ply for my eve cells and bms. good idea? or can anyone think of any problems with a ply box instead of normal plastic? I plan to make lots of vent holes.
