What's the DC connector on Jackery 500?

Just spent a summer switching back and forth from a Jackery 500 wired into our 12V panel using the above-referenced Goal Zero connector, OR a VMAX TANK SLR100 100AH (600Wh) Deep Cycle, Solar AGM Battery wired into the same panel via an outdoor port. The one annoyance of the system is that both...

Switching back and forth between Jackery and 12-volt deep cycle

I mentioned that this is a rolling set up. When I am charging the deep cycle battery it will be on a wagon with the charge controller down by the pond where the panels can be aimed at the sun. I am having a hard time wrapping my head around how to connect the deep cycle to power the cabin...

Switching back and forth between Jackery and 12-volt deep cycle

My back-up (well, actually, they will be backing up one other) is a deep cycle 12-volt 100Ah battery with a charge controller, so hopefully, I will not be charging as many AA batteries per month in the near future. I fully expect that the most juice that I will be putting into the Jackery will...

What's the DC connector on Jackery 500?

https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1366332-REG/goal_zero_98010_6mm_male_to_ring.html This 6mm to battery terminal connector is cheap enough and will get me from my Jackery 500 DC output to my DC terminal block at the cabin. I concur that it is pretty lame that you need to send an email...

What's the DC connector on Jackery 500?

This is absurd. Look at the options for connectors at Goal Zero. Go to Jackery website: achieved zero! Not a thing to help people for DYI, only that they are for DYI. Somewhere in Jackery engineering is the person that spec'd those outputs. If there is a female port, there must be a male pin, right?

Switching back and forth between Jackery and 12-volt deep cycle

All of these new solar and 12-volt connectors require new tools! As noted by men since the beginning of time, cables and wiring are often overpriced. (For instance I see an MC4 to 8mm, what I need to charge the Jackery, on Amazon for $24.) So to safely switch back and forth on my rolling solar...

Switching back and forth between Jackery and 12-volt deep cycle

Greetings. Noob questions. I've got an off-grid cabin tucked into the woods. So tucked into the woods and so shut down in winter that a permanent solar install isn't really feasible. I usually just lug batteries back and forth and charge them at home in my garage with AC power. But about 40...
