The LiFePO4 battery is a Lion Energy UT1300. The solar generators are the Ecoflow Delta, R600 and Bluetti AC200.

Can I just connect a 12V LiFePO4 battery to the DC input of a solar generator? Do I need a DC to DC converter or anything else?

It's not just the warranty. It's the lifetime charge cycles. LiFePO4 is 3000-5000 to 80% SoC. Lead acid is...300? There's also the half the weight and size benefit. If you do the math based on life expectancy, LiFePO4 is actually cheaper if you can such up the initial cost.

Thank you. I wasn't able to find that online. I entered -80 (or -90?) on the calculator for the V temp coeff and that's apparently incorrect because all recommended SCCs disappear from the list once I do that. Does PV Module temperature [°C]: just mean to enter the lowest and highest possible...

That's interesting but what I can't find is the voltage range for solar. 25A seems very high. 300W is lower than the Delta but no mention of voltage. ? The battery cycle life is way better than the Delta but it weighs DOUBLE! 62lbs. Yikes.

I have a gazebo type structure over my BBQ and I want to add a couple 200W~ solar panels on top. It's a solid metal roof and I don't want to drill through it. Wondering if some type of magnetic or adhesive mount exists.

Assuming you have a Champion 2800/3100W gas generator like mine, you can charge both Deltas at the same time with this adapter. AFAIK, all larger SoGen inverters are power hungry including the new AC200. Imagine running your champion generator to charge your laptop. It's possible but...

I definitely don't want to dedicate the AC200 to be a slave for just charging other solar generators. There's also conversion losses here. Is it possible to mount panels on a roof and then run all the cables down low to change configurations all the time? I guess I'll look into these DC-DC...

Is there a way to dial back the voltage on a larger solar array to charge a smaller solar generator? I want to max out an array for the Bluetti AC200 but then I can't charge any smaller solar generators like the R600 or Delta from it? Voltage regulator? Buck converter? Is this possible?

You said it yourself. it's a prototype and the capacity has been restricted. To me, that makes the entire test pointless but it is what it is. Their previous product, the Delta, gets around 80% and this newer battery chemistry and BMS aren't going to perform worse. I'll be getting a Max to beta...

I know, the beer glass is half full. It's just odd he didn't show half of what it can do. Hopefully there's a follow-up video. I still don't know what a 25V DC output port is for. He never showed it pull close to 700W of solar.

Retail is $1800. IGG pricing will be $1000-$1100 for super early bird. It weighs double what the Delta weighs. I also thought the video was very brief and left out a lot of good info. If Will is essentially taking credit for it, he should have had an hour long video showing everything it can do.
