How old is your generator and does it only happen when running on the generator? I'm not exactly sure what's going on but my last guess would be the ground neutral bond on the generator. You'll have to consult ONAN for exact location and configuration but the ground and neutral should be bonded...

If you are reading 120v and 60hz in the cerbo than the multiplus has connected to the generator. Is it not charging?

When you are monitoring the inverter how are you determining that its the inverter not accepting the power? In the cerbo do you have a voltage reading on the inputs?

If you have voltage between L1 and L2 of 240v than the Multiplus II will handle the power directly. Single phase is technically 240v and your generator has a center tap giving you split phase. Which is the input that the multiplus II is rated for.

NO!!! If you have 240volts between L1 and L2 on the generator output than the lines should NOT be combined EVER.

The 2400 rpm generators have 3 physical poles. So the formula for frequency, Generator Frequency (f) = Number of revolutions per minute of the engine (N) * Number of magnetic poles (P) / 120. 2400*3= 7200/120=60
