SA does work with the HESP, but the support isn't finalized. Several of the inverter settings are missing, and the grid reporting is wonky (seems to report reactive power instead of real power.) Load, battery, and PV reporting are all solid though. I know they have been actively updating the SRNE support lately, I just emailed them about the apparent vs active power discrepancy. Ultimately any relatively new inverter is going to have worse support in SA since it takes them time to support it and the HESP hasn't been in peoples hands for all that long yet.
