My rv runs off a 6000xp 48v 560ah . But I still had my charge / converter plugged in using 48v battery to charge the 12v stock system.
I'm now totally removing the charge/converter and am adding 2 x 12v 200ah in parallel 400ah I'm charging them off of a victron 100/50 mppt and 2 x 430w panels .
The batteries I'm using are 2 different brands both lifepo4 12v 200ah but they have seperate 200a bms ( daly & cheap cybt) I want to have the same bluetooth bms so I'm thinking of changing both to jk bms (same as 48v)

My questions do I need 200a bms if im only using rv 12v system no inverter ?
(Lights ,heater fan , slides , )

My stock rv wiring has a 45a blade fuse I'm swaping for 45a anl fuse doesn't this mean I shouldn't discharge over 45a ?

Whatever BMS you choose will limit the current you can pull from the battery. You can lookup the datasheet on your cells to see the max current - for 100ah battery I would expect the max is 100amps on the BMS....

That said you can put a smaller BMS on there if you choose...no problem but the price is similar between them so no reason to put smaller on it. If you want to deliberately limit current just put a smaller breaker/fuse on the batteries and set your charge controller to charge at the lower limit....

Yes, you could use a smaller BMS.
But the larger one will last longer, for nearly the same price.
