This is the starter battery for my Generac generator. I am trying to find a source for an AC charger.

That's a conspicuously tiny starter battery. I've only seen that size of battery and terminal arrangement in emergency exit signs with the adjustable heads. Not saying you're wrong, just that it stands out.

Regardless: At that 9AH size I'd use a "battery maintainer" rated for 1 to 2 amps. Harbor Freight and others have plenty to chose from for less than $25.

It's for my Generac OHC 420cc gas generator. The battery allows you to press a button to fire up the generator. I didn't know that running the generator doesn't charge the battery; you have to detach it and charge it externally. I have a 12V trickle charger that will suit the bill above. Amazon says that my NOCO Genius GENPRO 12V charger can charge 12V lead-acid batteries from 2Ah to 230Ah capacity, but I don't trust their AI, especially since I don't see this documentation on NOCO's website. Better still would be to find the charger that was made to the battery.

It really burns you when you find that out, I know from experience with the larger ones. I'm an electrician that dabbles in solar so I've been around a bunch of 10 to 20KW Kohler's and Generac's. Very few of them have an actual alternator so if you aren't careful to wire thier on board battery chargers to generator backed up side of the house it will die after about 4 to 6 hours of running. Sh*^%#!!

Thank you all for your resposes. I was able to fully charge the battery with a 12V 1.5 amp charger, as suggested above. In the meantime, I purchased a Powersonic -PSC-121000ACX charger, which is designed specifically for my 12V 9Aw battery.
