Starting to do some basic wiring on my truck camper. Many more questions to come. 😊

I have three 100AH LIFEPO batteries to be installed into their own plastic battery boxes. Each battery box has external connecting posts. The batteries will be wired in parallel.

Would #2 welding cable be ok to use from the battery to the inside case posts?

Would #2 welding wire be ok to use from each external battery case post to the next battery case post (parallel)?

Thanks

Is 2awg wire sufficient to handle the maximum current your bank will sustain?

That's what I did. Only without the boxes. Each battery lead to a common buss bar keeping them the same length. 125 amp MRBF fuse for each battery at the positive buss bar.

More like is it sufficient to handle the maximum sustained current without heating above a 30c rise .... 60c is pretty hot and if you use the 105c welding wire rating that is melt plastic and burn me hot....

I checked the #2 USA welding cable is 108c

Went back and checked my chart. MAX draw at one time would be running the inverter/ small microwave (5 min max) with LED light on and refrige running is 100 Amps.
