Hello, I'm new here but have been lurking here researching since I bought this RV about a month ago. I posted this in the Mobile system forum but I figure it's better here.

The RV has been stored inside forever, so it's almost immaculate considering it's almost 30 years old. I plan on adding 1000w+ of panels to this later in the year when funds allow, but this is my initial plan to convert the old lead batteries to LiFePO4 and add an inverter to power when I'm boon docking. For now I'm leaving solar out of it and going to set myself up to be able to easily add it later in the year. The lithium, Multiplus, lynx distributor, automatic transfer, and breakers are all inside the cabin (to keep the lithium warm in the cooler temps).

Reading here and other forums, the alternator can't handle the lithium voltages, so we need to separate the chassis battery and the lithium system. Ideally I would install an Orion and re-run the wire myself. I don't want to do that, so I think putting the Orion downstream from the existing Intellitec isolator, so it can stay in, and having the Orion use the existing wiring back to the lithium battery bank.

I would like to charge the chassis battery from the Multiplus' mysterious 4A charger. I'm wondering if I should just run wires for that and the Orion to the chassis battery and just disconnect the isolator. Honestly running wire the length of the motorhome doesn't fill me with any excitement.

Also, if I've made any other questionable decisions in the diagram, please bring them up.

Thanks for reading and I appreciate any feedback.

- KC
