2?0vac@50hz appiiances on 240vac@60hz

That is now what I am realizing.
Thanks for the input. We had hoped that this battery system would work out but now guessing that LiPo will be the "Best choice" regardless of the cost.....
Just to be super clear. lipo=lithium polymer(the old explody batteries).
The ones you want are lifepo4.

There can be quite a bit of electronics and coil loss, particularly in cheap induction heaters.

Does the induced current heating to pot bottom make up for pot to heater coupling loss, probably in most cases.

A dedicated coffee pot usually has good thermal coupling of heating element to heating tank so it would actually be an advantage in efficiency over a separate pot on top of induction heating. Some have tankless direct water flow heating which is best efficiency but may have higher peak wattage heating element.

I't my understanding that in the uk and/or europe a tea kettle can draw ~3 killowatts.
Thats double what my north american tea kettle can draw.

Pretty sure I could just swap plugs or hardwire it to 240VAC@60hz.

All this to get my coffee 90 seconds sooner.

UPDATE: 240VAC@60hz
That is if your 120v element ( I presume ) will last 90 seconds ;)
