200w solar system expectations...

Quick question and apologies if I've asked this or similar before but is there a one-way sort of breaker thing that I can put on the system to avoid the power going back to the panels once the sun goes down? I just wanted to trial this if it's an option as the battery fills up well of a day then seems to drop down to two bars (out of five) or so once the sun goes down.

That's the difference between charging voltage and resting voltage. It doesn't appear that the battery is actually getting full.

Goes down 2 bars right away or overnight? Your SCC should be preventing power from going to the panels when the charging voltage gets lower than what the panels are outputting, like at night or those 3 days outside of August. ?

Well is seems to go down to two bars in the evening time but pretty much stays there overnight after we've gone to bed...

Actually, I see this myself early in the morning. My habit is to walk out to the utility room, coffee in hand, and watch the charge controller right at sunrise.

There's really nothing more satisfying ?
